In a debate about gun control, Rick Santorum (A complete moron - why the hell did they invite morons like him to a debate is beyond me!) tried to say that "Multiple studies showed that video game violence influenced real-life violence"... Again another fucking moron saying complete BS after a shooting to try to pin it on violent games.... Let me Repeat. NO Study has linked video game violence to real life violence, only Aggression, which is not the same thing as violence. Let me repeat that: Aggression =/= Violence! Two different things you fucktard! What he said is a complete lie. The studies proved aggression, but stupid idiots like the Hack psychologist and Now Rick Santorum are now trying to say they prove that kids get violent after playing violent games. They don't prove that at all you fucking moron!
But that is only the tip of the iceberg people.. Wayne lapoopiere is back to try to mask his organization's (The NRA) responsibility in this shooting... They probably sold the guns to the Las Vegas Shooter, so they now whine about how the Who Entertainment industry and the Obama Admin are responcible for the shooting.
Here is some ACTUAL FACT based EVIDENCE I will use to debunk Turds Like Lapoopiere and Santorpuke... Do a search for "Stephen paddock" + "video games", and you get NO SITES linking him to violent games, only politicians whining against something that had nothing to do with the shooting (Violent games) in this case. Lapoopiere and Santorpuke ignore this fact that video games do not have anything to do with the shooting.. The shooter, Steven Paddock was in his 60's for fuck sake! WAY TOO OLD TO BE A GAMER! No one in their 60's plays violent games, they are far too old.... That's nonsense to say they do...

Vegas Shooting incident that happened recently. As you are well aware
by now, Some crazy gunman shot and killed 60+ people at a Country Music
concert in Las
Vegas yesterday. I have no clue why he did it, but one thing I know is
that it wasn't the usual scapegoat of "OH NOES! VIOLENT VIDEO GAMES ARE
MAKING SHOOTERS KILL PEOPLE!"
How do I know this?
All you have to do is read people... Read the articles about the Perpetrator in this case such as This one, this one and This one.. Here's the ticker... None of them even say he played violent video games! NONE! So why in the blue hell are there idiots out there trying to incite BS by blaming a tragedy on Video Games?
On twitter, every time there is a mass shooting, I am all over it. I'm looking for:
A) People blaming the shooting on games or a gamer.. Both have happened in Mass Shootings
B) People using Fake Evidence to say the shooter was a Gamer. I've seen this as well..
I was looking on twitter when the mass shooting happened... And still am as of today. At first it was only 2-3 people blaming games but that count rose to 15-20 by tonight... It's spiraling out of control now. It's not nearly as bad as the UCC shooting, when there was 100+ people on twitter whining about violent games but you see what happens when violent games become a scapegoat.
As an author of an upcoming FPS game I just want to expose these idiots... So from now on this post will do just that..

Stupid Loser on Twitter Tries to HIJACK #NoBillNoBreak to attack violent games

Today the Senators decided to "hold Republicans Hostage" for a 21 hour
Filibuster to try to get Gun Control Legislation Passed.. They set up a Hashtag on twitter for this : #NoBillNoBreak
Now why am I mentioning this?
Some idiots are using these stupid hashtags to feed FALSE INFO to the senators now. FALSE INFO that bashes violent games. Like this tweet:
The tweet in question links to the following extremely flawed study...
The Study Attempts to use Heart Rate and GSR to "prove" violent games make people "desensitized" to "Real Life" Violence. That's complete Bunk. Number 1, video games can make people "desensitized" to video game violence, but since fake violence in a video game is not the same as "real" violence there is no way a game can desensitize a person to "real life" violence because they are different.
But the real problem with this study is it's trying to use measurements from areas OUTSIDE the brain to prove "desensitization" to real life violence. Your reaction to a real life violence can't be measured that way at all. It's complete nonsense. Since "desensitization" is a brain thing, measuring those two things makes no sense... Seeing Real life violence doesn't shock people enough to raise their heart rate or GSR. And even if that was true, there are other factors that can cause those two things to happen, so seeing those two results doesn't really prove violent games "desensitize" people to real life violence. It's a hack, a completely crazy one too.
But what really pisses me off is idiots like "My Atlanta Tweeps" trying to HIJACK a gun control debate to legislate their version of morality where violent games get banned or censored. It's sick. Violent games don't cause real life violence, that's BS I have debunked tons of times before. There are even studies proving this now. I am not making this up. There is even a study that disproves the whole idea that video games desensitize people to real life violence as well. You can read it here.

Another BS Filled Article spreading Lies About Violent Games after Orlando (and implies censorship is good)
And I thought this BS train of crappy articles making up stupid claims was done...

This article is about E3 and tries to claim that people aren't allowed to Criticize violent entertainment.
That's BS because these fuckwads have tons of tons of sites they infest to do just that, and when one of them, or all of them, makes up nonsense claims they get criticized in return by people who KNOW WHAT THE FUCK THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.
Case and Point, the stupid constant BS surrounding the equally stupid quote by Jonathan Blow.
"The Lesson of E3, the Gaming Industry is trying really hard to make being a mass murderer fun"
The Author of this article tries to claim that this quote got silenced by "armies of violent gamers" but ignores the stupidity of the comment itself. The Comment tries to equate mass murder with a video game where you kill people who try to kill you. The two are NOT the same asshole!
Mass murder involves killing dozens of Innocent, Defenseless people. NOT people who try to kill you! The two are not the same at all. One is Combat, One is Murder. Is Combat Murder? No. Murder involves intentionally taking a life of someone who is defenseless. The characters in the game are NOT defenseless. They shoot, or stab you if they get the chance to. It's stupid to make a claim that a game like this is mass murder. That is the stupidest thing ever. If there was a game where you went around a pre-school and killed dozens of innocent 3 year olds, and it was shown at E3, that comment by Blowhard would be valid. But since a game like that doesn't exist, his comment is stupid and he deserves "vitriolic" comments and worse and return.
And so is this writer for saying that Blow got "Vitriolic" responses, for merely Criticizing. Sorry. Blow did more than Criticize. He Made up BS. Complete BS that says a game is the same as mass murder. It's stupid. And so is the writer.

Soon the Government forced the industry to meet with them to ask them what they (the industry) could do to stop killings. Soon there was a CDC Study on video games to see if there was a correlation between mass killings and them,

Some Fucking Idiot posted a tweet saying the shooter was falsely "confirmed" to be Samuel Hyde, a youtube gamer and Comedian. Soon a HUGE Witch Mob started to attack violent games. Well.. More Fucking Idiots are jumping on the "Shit on the Graves of the 50 dead in the orlando shooting to bash violent games" bandwagon. Case and point... This Article.
The writer of this article is a fucking moron, who blames violent games for previous shootings that had nothing to do with them, and erroneously says Call of Duty was played by the Columbine Shooters, when that's Impossible (Call of duty wasn't out in 1999 you fucking idiot! Do your fucking research!) And he prefaces it by saying he isn't blaming shootings on games but then implies it's the games fault by saying there is a "connection" between Call of Duty for Columbine and Sandy hook.
First of all you fucking idiot, Columbine was a BOTCHED TERRORIST Attack, done to kill as many a cops as possible to get revenge for a police rape in an arrest for bomb making materials. It had NOTHING to do with games. We don't even know the reason Adam Lanza shot up Sandy Hook, but I don't think It was video games. Video games simply don't have levels where you can get the idea to mass murder a school filled with toddlers and teachers. There are NO games featuring that idea so fuck off.

Lo And Behold, the Witch Hunt Surrounding Video Games after the Orlando Shooting Got Worse... While Searching for Tweets on twitter, I found someone posting a tweet linking to an article that blames video game violence and Heavy Metal for the Orlando Shooting.

I don't know if the writers were the same Asshole ManFeminists/Feminists who tried to blame violent games for the shooting (like theVerge and others), but this is sick... These people are sick. Latest Moral Panic on Video Game Violence Started by "Games Journalists"
Several Days ago a Terrorist with possible ISIS Connections committed the Worst Massacre in US History. No one has tried to fake evidence to say he was a gamer. That's the good news. (If that did happen, I would be all over it, as usual). But that didn't stop moronic fake "Games Journalists" like the ones in TheVerge and other sources bash video games violence after a massacre happened that had zero, zilch connections to video games.
At the Recent E3, Developers offered there condolences to the victims of the massacre. And that led to a ton of idiots bashing E3 for the "portrayal" of video game violence after a massacre, like there is some unwritten rule that you must never show video game violence, after a massacre. Fuck that rule. They can show what they want. And they shouldn't feel like they have to offer their condolences. We've been through the shitstorm before. Actual SCIENTIFIC Evidence disproves the idea the video games cause "real life violence". So these people, these developers should not show any guilt for something they didn't do. But that's exactly what they did, and that attracted idiots like Full Mcintosh, Jonathan BlowMe and others to "comment" on the "link" between video game violence and the massacre...

Oregon Newspaper spreads another moral panic on violent games.
Well it seems that the dead horse of the ucc shooting violent games moral panic has been resurrected by a greedy newspaper. They ran a fricking letter to the editor whining about violent games even though the shooter was proven to be a terrorist. The quotes by the person writing in are idiotic, they make up complete nonsense about violent games, that I will debunk. But it's leading to idiots spreading their nonsense in comments (more lies). And it's being spread ALL OVER twitter.
Lets get into debunking the nonsense that the letter says first:
"Friends, the real issue here, I believe, is the use of video games. Chris Harper-Mercer sat at home playing video games all day long. Video games are more and more realistic these days, and many of them are very violent. In many games, the participant is actively killing people."
ONE Article mentions he played video games. NOT VIOLENT ONES! It never specifies. Read the article she links. It doesn't even mention playing all day long. She made up that claim, because the article doesn't even specify how long he played. She also tries to say video games today are "more realistic, very violent and involve actively killing people". This is BS...
Most games are NOT realistic these days. Realistic games that are so realistic they could be simulators are rare. She is pulling that out of her ass. Very violent is also nonsense. Most violent games are mildly violent, only a few are realistic.
I did a study on over 605 games based on a wikipedia article of all FPS games ever released. I found out just how many are are realistic and how many are uber violent. Not many games were realistic or uber violent.

And most aren’t even that popular because they are Insanely difficult. They should be. 1 hit kills you. No Health. Things like “marine Doom”. Most Tactical shooters are at most 75% realistic. Out of all 605 FPS games ever made, only 4.46% are “Uber Violent” like this. Only 14.81% of all 81 Popular FPS games could be considered Uber Violent. These “Popular Uber Violent” Fps games only make 1.98% of all FPS games ever released! (605)"
As for many games allowing to kill people, that's the only true thing she even mentions...

After UCC Shooting, Another Religious Zealot calls for the Banning of Violent Games!
So
the shit has hit the fan in this Video Game Violence Moral Panic for a
shooting that has NOTHING to do with violent games... A talk show was
done two days ago and some brainwashed Zealot named Matthew Hagee whined
about violent games that "train kids to kill".
Number 1, you idiot: Very few to no "Violent" Video Games involve
training kids to kill and commit atrocities like the UCC Shooting. The
idea that a game can train people to kill is nonsense..
Why is it nonsense? To train REAL People to kill requires more than a virtual reality simulation of killing things. Video games don't make a very good training tool for killing because they don't include very realistic simulations of real combat, real guns, etc. They get characteristics wrong constantly, important characteristics to mimicking a real gun. Very few have recoil simulation, at least accurate recoil simulation.
A second problem is that most violent games don't have you massacre innocent people. That's rare even in violent games. In a list of 100+ violent games ever made, only 8-9 had innocent people in them. That's less than 10%. Hagee's claims are stupid and uniformed. He assumed violent games train people to fire a real gun well. If that was true, the columbine shooters (who obsessed over doom) would have hit most of their targets. Why is it that they only had a 23% accuracy rating at columbine? Because the game Doom makes a Piss Poor training simulator!
Another problem is that most of the shooters who committed shootings like this were NOT gamers or played mostly nonviolent games, or were clearly motivated by another thing than a violent game, when they killed.
UCC Shooter - A Terrorist who was a friend with a Muslim Terrorist as well.
Charleston Church Shooting earlier this year - A Racist Fanatic did it, Not a gamer
Adam Lanza - A gamer but never played any game that allows you to gun down school children!
In fact he mostly played nonviolent games!
Norway Shooter - Played World of warcraft, a sword fighting game
James Holmes - Played a guitar hero game, a music game.

Why is it nonsense? To train REAL People to kill requires more than a virtual reality simulation of killing things. Video games don't make a very good training tool for killing because they don't include very realistic simulations of real combat, real guns, etc. They get characteristics wrong constantly, important characteristics to mimicking a real gun. Very few have recoil simulation, at least accurate recoil simulation.
A second problem is that most violent games don't have you massacre innocent people. That's rare even in violent games. In a list of 100+ violent games ever made, only 8-9 had innocent people in them. That's less than 10%. Hagee's claims are stupid and uniformed. He assumed violent games train people to fire a real gun well. If that was true, the columbine shooters (who obsessed over doom) would have hit most of their targets. Why is it that they only had a 23% accuracy rating at columbine? Because the game Doom makes a Piss Poor training simulator!
Another problem is that most of the shooters who committed shootings like this were NOT gamers or played mostly nonviolent games, or were clearly motivated by another thing than a violent game, when they killed.

After the UCC Shooting, the fucking disinformation spreaders attack violent games.
Looking over twitter the last few days has made me realize that we are in yet another violent games moral panic, after the UCC Shooting. Even though the shooter has PROVEN connections to terrorism, and hatred, it doesn't matter to people like "Steve Asshole".
Steve asshole is an idiot who thinks all violent games involve murder, and train murder for real. He has no clue what problems his theory has. Number one, 90% of violent games have you attack and kill hostile enemies. That's NOT murder. Murder is a premeditated killing of an innocent person. Does killing mutant bugs count as murder? Apparently to Steve Asshole it does.

Brainwashed moron blames games for Charleston Shooting.
I was on twitter when I saw this bullshit being spread. Apparently the moral panic surrounding the Charleston shooting, isn't limited to the o'reilly factor's BS. Now a zealot on facebook is calling for the ban of violent entertainment after the shooting, a shooting that had nothing to do with violent games. It's fucking pathetic.
This has gotten 293,644 brainwashed fucktards to share or like it. Which is pathetic. One of these fucktards could in theory try to get President Obama to legislate violent games... This is a big threat to our freedom. It's disgusting. People like this need to shut up and learn to stop blaming violent games for the crime, when we don't even know if the shooter even played them, and when we already fucking know the motive, racism!

What's really sickening, is just how many complete idiots beleive what he says! There are a total of 38 likes and 18 retweets to these obvious bogus/radical claims. It's rediculous. I guess there are a bunch of farmville addicts out there who hate violent games and want to "change the industry" to get rid of all violence". It's pathetic.
It's pathetic really. These kids of people are Threatening the status quo of the gaming industry. They want violence gotten rid of completely, and the industry is embracing them? Look at all the attention they receive from industry, and tech companies. It's pathetic. Did the Hack Psychologists get such attention and praise from the Gaming Industry in the 90's and 2000's? HELL NO! These people are basically the same thing and the industry is accepting them. IT'S SICK!
The first and second quote says that the removal of any forced violence (aka making it so violence is a choice) is not good enough to be considered innovation, and implies only removal of all violence is really innovation. Basically this censor is trying to change the industry to get rid of violence slowly. Complete idiots on Twitter bash the upcoming Doom Game...
Lo and behold, the idiots attacking good games just because their violent have not learned to shut the hell up.
This all started during E3. The new Doom Game was shown off at E3. Now mind you, this is a pretty Violent Doom Game, much more violent than previous ones even, but still, all the violence in it was being done to Demons. NOT humans! Just like all the Doom games before it. This didn't stop complete idiots like the stupid Video Game Critic below (that everyone should know about) from bashing doom because you Chainsaw Demons... DEMONS...
He is basically complaining that Doom Should be Banned. In a previous tweet he bitched and moaned about people at E3 cheering when the chainsaw in the next Doom game was being shown off. He has no credibility. He's a complete moron with an agenda and it shows. Within seconds, the entirety of gamers on twitter immediately attacked him (and rightfully so, he was whining about a game where you chainsaw demons?)
But the bullshit doesn't end there...
Lo and behold this wannabe gamer starts his own "activist campaign" to get rid of Doom. Just look at this...
He starts bitching about the violence in the game, and comparies it incorrectly to the upcoming ultra violent game "Hatred". Which is bullshit, because at least doom has evil monsters you are fighting, not innocent people like in Hatred. But to him the demons were not demons because he cannot tell the difference between people and demons?
It's complete bullshit people. We'll see if this spirals out of control and gets more people to want to ban Doom. I hope not. The previous Doom Games have all become targets due to Bullshit Hoaxes being spread about them after Columbine. Quack "Crime Writer" Fakes Evidence to prove killer killed because of Violent Games!
Lo and Behold the fake bullshit surround violent video games has not died down. It's been years since a moral panic and still idiots are using fake evidence to start another violent games moral panic. The idiot in question is the same idiot I attacked for trying to claim all gamers are baby killers after sandy hook, and it seems he found a new site to attack violent games from, and the site is just plain disgusting.

First of all, he references a crime, some kid shot his friend after taking a "selfie". Then tries to claim they were both gamers. What evidence did he use to prove this? None. In fact, if you look at search results for the phrase maxwell morton "Gamer", you get NONE but his site that "prove" the killer was a gamer! None Period. He then runs his mouth, tries to claim several nonsense claims.

There are armor piercing rounds that go right through armor. Number 5. In Realistic scenarios like Simulations, Getting shot anywhere can be deadly, not just the head and chest. Shot in the leg. You can’t walk. Shot in the knee or elbow, or fingers, you might be in so much pain that you cannot even move. Shot in the neck, risk of paralysis. Very few, if no games simulate this. Some games TRY to emulate real combat but most fail. The total of these games that come close in some cases in certain areas (like weapon physics, STALKER is a great example, or damage to the player (Far Cry)) are a small % of the total 605 FPS games ever made. MOST Fps games realism level is ridiculously low. For the first 10+ years of FPS games getting shot would just do minor damage most of the time. Not till Far cry come out did this change. First of all, he references a crime, some kid shot his friend after taking a "selfie". Then tries to claim they were both gamers. What evidence did he use to prove this? None. In fact, if you look at search results for the phrase maxwell morton "Gamer", you get NONE but his site that "prove" the killer was a gamer! None Period. He then runs his mouth, tries to claim several nonsense claims.

The truth is that combat realism is found only in 1 RARE kind of FPS games, “EXTREME” Tactical shooters. These games are NOT uber violent. They are Simulators of real life combat. And most aren’t even that popular because they are Insanely difficult. They should be. 1 hit kills you. No Health. Things like “marine Doom”. Most Tactical shooters are at most 75% realistic. They do bullet damage fine, and health not around every corner, but things like mimicking real weapons, that almost always fail, with few exceptions. Number 1, in these games, gunshot sounds are quiet. Real gunshots are DEAFINGLY loud. Number 2, real guns jam, break, and need to be repaired regularly. NO games do this accurately. Because that’s stuff that the military teaches. Number 3, as a gun degrades it fires worse. Accuracy and similar characteristics go down. No game mimics these 100% accurately. Some might have weapon degradation. Number 4. Armor in most FPS games, even some tactical shooters is 100% resistant to bullets. or Very resistant. In real life armor isn’t nearly that effective. There are armor piercing rounds that go right through armor. Number 5. In Realistic scenarios like Simulations, Getting shot anywhere can be deadly, not just the head and chest. Shot in the leg. You can’t walk. Shot in the knee or elbow, or fingers, you might be in so much pain that you cannot even move. Shot in the neck, risk of paralysis. Very few, if no games simulate this. Some games TRY to emulate real combat but most fail. The total of these games that come close in some cases in certain areas (like weapon physics, STALKER is a great example, or damage to the player (Far Cry)) are a small % of the total 605 FPS games ever made. MOST Fps games realism level is ridiculously low. For the first 10+ years of FPS games getting shot would just do minor damage most of the time. Not till Far cry come out did this change. Guns had no recoil in most old FPS games. Total % of TRUE “Semi-Realistic” games is 6.61% of all 605 FPS games ever made. But very few of these are even popular. Only 4.94% of all 81 popular FPS games are like this. These “Popular Semi-Realistic FPS games” are only 0.66% of all 605 FPS games ever made!"

How to stop the next Video Games Moral Panic
These are ideas I thought up to end the next video games moral panic that comes up after a shooting spree or school shooting that has "connections" to video games. I thought these up during the Sandy Hook Moral Panic and think this is a great time to bring these up again and I think someone needs to get at least one of these into the Obama Admin. ASAP. I won't do it. I cannot get signatures no matter how hard I try. But someone else in the Gaming Industry should really consider this, because it will limit the possibility of legislation of video games in the future to a very slim chance.
During the last few video game related moral panics (Columbine, Sandy Hook, etc), hoaxes were spread that seemed to show that school shooters were influenced by video games. Hoaxes such as the "Doom Will Become Reality" Hoax after columbine. These Hoaxes contributed to legislation and were used to attempt sway the supreme court in Brown vs EMA by the Eagle Form Watchdog group. Media then went out and attacked violent games, often times using lies to attack them. Lies such as "Video Games make people violent!" are often cited by people in the media. Both of these contribute to the moral panic and make it spiral out of control. Moral panics can be Proven to cause anti-video games legislation and studies. The industry MUST take steps to prevent the the spread of such lies and hoaxes and the government AND media must be punished for spreading them.
A) Government Limitations
-Government cannot use the Obscenity Clause to judge Violence!
(Obscenity clause has a part that says if the game lacks serious literary, scientific, and educational values, it gets fined. No one in a panel deciding this will say it has these values if they get offended by the violent content!)
-Government forbidden from drafting any bill that by accident or purposely causes the lack of sales of violent games to adults.
(No More laws like the CA bill that started Brown VS EMA. No more crap like this)
-Government forbidden from taxing the "Use", "Storage", or "Consumption" of Violent Games.
(No More making everyone who plays a violent game have to pay a ridiculous tax)
-Government forbidden from Taxing Violent games by a percentage higher than 20%
-Government Video Game Studies are Illegalized
-Government officials should be jailed for making up lies about violent games.
-Government forbidden with tampering with the ESRB and cannot make a new rating system IF it gets abused to rate all games so they cannot be sold in stores at all.

-Amicus Briefs that use the above lies to sway a supreme court case about a violent game related legislation must be fact checked by a panel of game industry members who know these are lies, and the person who drafted the amicus brief gets heavily fined and barred from future amicus briefs. (Eagle Forum already tried this tactic with some of the above hoaxes during Brown vs EMA)
B) Media Limitations
This covers Media groups (Tv Stations, Newspapers, Websites of those two, ) and Watchdog Groups (PTC, Eagle Forum, National Institute of the Media and the Family, Common Sense Media, etc.) and Police (Police Stations (They often attack games))
-Any newspaper caught writing an article that makes up facts to "prove" a game caused a school shooting and it can be proven by an industry panel, license revoked, fined 2 million dollars, writer thrown in jail for 10 years.
-Any newspaper trying to stretch the truth on violent games, fined 2 million dollars, thrown in jail for 2 years
-Any Newstation making up nonsense about violent games and it can be proven by the above panel,
the tv station shut down, they get fined million dollars, and they get tried for inciting the populace in a dangerous way, and license revoked of anyone involved.
Media now has to be 100% FACTUAL when talking about violent games
-Any Watchdog group that submits an Amicus Brief that contains the above lies and/or hoaxes, gets jailed for 20 years, their property taken by the government and their website shut down forever)
-Any Watchdog group that makes up nonsense about video games on their site, or elsewhere, gets fined 500,000 dollars, their website shut down for 6 years, and gets jailed for 2 years.
-Anyone who goes on talk shows mentioning the above lies and/or hoaxes gets jailed for 10 years, and the talk show gets fined 500,000 dollars.
C) Frivolous lawsuit protection..
- A panel of video game industry members will filter through any lawsuits filed against a gaming company, and if the plaintiff and/or lawyers use above lies to sway the jury, the plaintiff fined 2 million dollars, the lawyer disbarred, etc.
D) Lawsuits
The Gaming industry is now recommended to sue anyone in the media making up anything about a game, anyone in the government, and anyone legislating video game violence in a way that will make video game not sell able to stores to adults.
E) Stopping the spread of the above lies
- Any forum that is found by the panel of the industry that has above lies being spread, the people get fined 2000 dollars and put in jail for 2 years.
- Anyone who calls video games trash, fined 50 dollars
- Anyone who threatens gamers, or insults gamers online, fined 12000 dollars, and thrown in jail for 5 years.
- Anyone doing the above should have their IP addresses made public to help this
- Anyone caught building a website that contains a new video game violence related hoax that proves a school shooter committed the shooting due to the violent game's influence, gets jailed for 5 years and find 2500 dollars.
Ok... This is my plan. I want someone to send this to "We the People" to petition the Obama Administration to do at least Some of these. I cannot do it. Last time I tried, I could not get enough signatures at all. But someone else can. I think it's time we acted to Prevent the next moral panic rather then attacking it when it happens. Because it will happen someday and the quicker we do these actions the better.

Idiot politician from Conneticut still trying to tax violent games.
While looking at gamepolitics.com, I came across this article. It seems that another idiot trying to blame violent games for sandy hook. It never ends does it? The "person" in question is none other than Debra lee Hovey, some senator or representitive from Conneticut, who after sandy hook, brought legislation to the House in Connecticut to Tax the Sale of violent games, saying they caused sandy hook, which they do not. She, recently has seen this legislation fail (rightfully so) and then said recently that she would bring it back into the senate there.
I quote:
"Countless studies, including a recent 2014 piece out of Iowa State University, have attributed the playing of violent video games with noticeable increases – in both frequency and severity – of aggressive behavior. This is true particularly among children and teens. According to that same study, more than 90% of video games rated E10+ or higher contain violent content, which is often justified and portrayed as ‘fun’. Moreover, it is now common knowledge that Adam Lanza was known to play these violent video games for hours a day. If we can educate consumers about mature video games as violent behavior triggers, and put more resources into researching contributing factors of violent behavior, why wouldn’t we?:"
What she doesn't say is that many of these studies are flawed, and try to find a link between video games and aggression or violence and use things like eletrocshock therapy to increase the likelyhood "factors" that are found in the kids who play violent games. These factors can be brainwave scans, loud noise, etc. None of these prove the kids are acting aggressive, the kids act aggressive normally anyway, do they check for that? No. Many studies are biased and are funded by groups like the center for sucessful parenting, who clearly want to get rid of video game violence, totally by causing crap like this.
"I am disheartened this bill did not pass. Assuming Connecticut lawmakers are truly serious about changing the culture of violence in our state, taxing violent video games is a common sense start to achieving this goal. If mature-rated video games carried an extra warning label, and were charged an extra tax due to their violent content -similar to the sin tax on cigarettes-, a parent might think twice before purchasing that game for their young child. At minimum, a parent would be more conscious of the content in the games their children are playing. In reality, educating parents about the potential mental health implications to their eight year old from playing violent video games is as common sense as warning pregnant women about the dangers of drinking alcohol. If the children, teens, and adults who play these games (alike) were aware of the risks of violent video game play, they could moderate their exposure to such play and seek help if needed."
Parents are already buying games, with heavy labels on them. No way a label or tax will change that. How far does Hovey want this to go? 50% tax on the sale, 100%?, taxing the buyer 10% of all property they own in the state every time they play the game, in an attempt to kill the industry. Make no mistake, a tax like this has only one goal, to do just that. She claims 8 year olds regularly play violent games. Regular studies by the ESRB prove the average age of gamers is 34+ years old! 8 year olds play games that MAY contain some violence but most gamers are NOT 8 year olds like she is claiming!
"The science is clear and overwhelming; the playing of violent video games by children and teens does lead to observable behavior changes. That same study from Iowa State University showed that “habitual violent video game play increases long term aggressive behavior” and this increase occurs “regardless of sex, age, initial aggressiveness, and parental involvement.” That means even children with no previous signs of violent tendencies were shown to have an increased incidence of such behavior after prolonged violent video game play. An additional 2004 study concluded that adolescents who play violent video games for extended periods of time are often more aggressive, more confrontational with teachers and adults, and more likely to engage in fights with peers. Violent video game play does not only impact the behavior of children with preexisting behavioral issues, but the behavior of all children."
This is another citation by her of a Biased study that proves nothing. Aggression is normal in kids. My friends kid never plays violent games, and he throws crap around constantly. Aggression =/= Violence! Kids are like this anyway, does this fact even register in the mind of such idiots spouting nonsense like this?

Columbine Doom hoax search results and Fake Doom BS
Today, after reading the articles I posted on the Doom Hoaxes, where Doom was blamed for columbine using fake evidence, fabricated in 1999, I decided to write another article about video game related nonsense and how my efforts to debunk such hoaxes have really helped to show how idiotic the doom moral panic was.
The first such hoax "Doom will become reality", supposedly was said on Eric Harris's website but several sites proved that it was fake at the time. But their proof did not get far, because many more sites said this was proof that Doom did in fact cause columbine, all attacking violent video games at the same time. At the time, any and all search results for the phrase lead to sites attacking violent games. My debunking it helped to change that however. Go search for "Doom Will become reality" on google.com and you get this:
My blogs and videos debunking this nonsense are now at the top of the results. Surprise! Saying that the Doom will become reality hoax is just that, over and over again can do wonders to the search results. My stuff has seriously trumped all the anti-gamer nonsense BS sites saying Doom was the cause for the massacre.
But this thing doesn't end here.
Another much more complex hoax involved 3 articles from 3 newspaper saying a modified version of doom was found on Eric Harris's website/or computer. (it differs per source, weirdly). The modified version of doom had begging students saying a certain phrase and many features doom could not do in 1999. At the time searching for some phrase in the articles themselves led to tons of sites all citing the claims like they were a fact. That is still true. But if you google "modified version of doom columbine" you get the most popular article and my debunkings right below it. Not as successful as the last debunking, but close.
Now if you googled the phrase "Doom caused columbine" before I mentioned the phrase over and over again with various articles here, you would get tons of sites saying that Doom did in fact cause columbine. Now this is what you get:
After the wikipedia article, my debunking is right below! I never expected the debunking to get so high in the search results. I expected that some people would read it and then stow it away, and at best I would get mentioned on some gaming forum. I wasn't expecting my results on the Doom will become reality hoax to include my articles first. With all the sites (100's) saying that this hoax is proof doom did cause columbine, you'd expect my post to be much lower, but no.
But before we go, I want to do another Fake Doom BS debunking right here. Not quite as popular in the game attacking sites as the 2 last ones but still mentioned from time to time is the following long paragraph written by Harris himself:
"everyone should be put to a test. an ULTIMATE DOOM test, see who can survive in an environment using only smarts and military skills. put them in a doom world. no authority, no refuge, no BS copout excuses. If you cant figure out the area of a triangle or what "cation" means, you die! if you cant take down a demon w/ a chainsaw or kill a hell prince w/ a shotgun, you die! fucking snotty rich fuckheads [Censored by J.C.Sheriff Office] who rely on others or on sympathy or $ to get them through life should be put to this challenge. plus it would get rid of all the fat, retarded, crippled, stupid, dumb, ignorant, worthless people of this world. no one is worthy of this planet only me and who ever I choose. there is just no respect for anything higher than your fucking boss or parent. everyone should be shot out into space and only the people I saw should be left behind. 4/12/98"
This phrase is clearly talking about doom multi player, not actually putting people in a school shooting situation. Any gamer can see that. But the people who never played video games would see it a different way, because of the way the articles using this against doom quoted it. The "ultimate doom challenge" is clearly just multi player. Not a school shooting. After that he goes into a total psychotic attack against people who are rich and says they should be killed. But this is used to blame doom constantly. How do we debunk this?
We look for other references to doom in his writings. In most of them Doom is mentioned with other things such as war, with no context to what they are actually describing, such as "this will be like doom, ww2, the korean war rolled into one". What is he talking about. You can't tell. There is no way to know, so how to the anti-gamers know this is about the massacre? They don't. They just want others to believe it is. In all of his writings there is plenty of evidence that Doom was NOT influencing him to commit the massacre.. this following quote proves it:
"someones bound to say "what were they thinking?" when we go NBK or when we were planning it, so this what I am thinking. "I have a goal to destroy as much as possible so I must not be sidetracked by my feelings of sympathy, mercy, or any of that, so I will force myself to believe that everyone is just another monster from Doom like FH or FS or demons, so It's either me or them. I have to turn off my feelings." keep this is mind, I want to burn the world, I want to kill everyone except about 5 people, who I will name later, so If you are reading this you are lucky you escaped my rampage because I wanted to kill you. It will be very tricky getting all of our supplies, explosives, weaponry, ammo, and then hiding it all and then actually planting it all so we can achieve our goal. but if we get busted any time, we start killing then and there, just like Wilks from the AlIENS books, I aint going out without a fight."
Notice how he said he would have to "force himself to believe all students are doom monsters" to turn off his feelings during the massacre? No way is this something doom did. Look for more references to Doom in the writings I linked and you get one reference to WW2, and one to the doom shotgun, the ultimate doom test and this. That's it.
Speaking of ww2. Why is the obvious fact and motive that Harris was a Nazi fuckhead completely looked over? Do I have to quote the exact quote where he worships hitler/Nazi's. now. But search for it and you will find more info on his obssession with Nazi's. Why was this totally ignored by all the groups that attacked doom? It's all over his writings, Racial Slurs, references to Nazi's, swastika's, plane as day to see. Yet this was totally ignored and Doom was blamed instead? WTF!
In any ordinary mind this would be much more likely motive than being "brainwashed by doom". But people in Colorado started blaming doom right and left till it was mass hysteria. It got so out of control that even I was threatened by some dickhead on a forum over it (long story). This is just more proof that the people blaming doom, skipping over his hatred of people/love for Nazi's, are complete idiots. His multiplayer "Ultimate Doom test" was used like the "Doom will become reality hoax" to demonize Doom constantly in various attack sites, even to this day. It's rediculous.
At least I can try to stop this nonsense, and I think I have been relatively sucessful.
