MA tries to start another violent game Witchhunt!!!

Well it seems the idiots attacking violent games never stop, do they? On the heels of the idiotic study into so called violent games "effects" on kids  set up by Senator Jay Rockefeller, We have my state trying to start the same old nonsense again. A politician in MA has decided that it would be a good
idea to start a biased study to study the effect of games on kids again.... Right after MA stalled their bill aiming to restrict violent games so they could not be bought by adults. These "studies" popping up everywhere get to me. Because just like all of the other game attacking studies, these
are bound to be biased, and engineered to show a certain result. A lot of other studies are funded by the Center for Successful parenting, a group that has this in their mission statement "We aim to motivate leaders of <insert tons of industries here> to change culture so violence is not shown to
children" basically meaning "ban violent games", because changing the culture of violence can only done by removing the violence.

The current studies by Rockefeller and this idiot in MA are troubling. The Rockefeller study, has language in it's text that tells that the studies can find whatever results they want, because it asks if the violent games have any "new" effects on kids. After the brief but stupid moral panic
surrounding child molestation and it's nonexistent link to violent game playing, spurred by that
Preacher Boykin and Ralph Nader, I wondered if they could use the vague language in the study to find that violent game playing leads to child molestation and pedophilia.  To see what the Study in MA does I  looked at the text of the study closely...

I got the text from this source:

"That a special commission is hereby established for the purposes of making an investigation and study relative to video games as  a form of media and as a training tool. Within that context, the commission will focus upon video games that allow the player to  simulate severe battery or killing (“killing games”). The commission will study, investigate, and provide conclusions regarding:  (i) the social benefits, impacts and implications of video games in general and killing games in particular, comparing the impact  on youth with the impact on adults; (ii) the use of video games as military training devices, educational devices, and other training  applications; (iii) how video games compare to other forms of media in terms of their ability to recreate a realistic experience, to  desensitize the consumer, to train the consumer to accept certain ideas, and to teach the player new skills or capabilities; (iv) the addictive quality of video games; (v) any connection, including any exposure t or imitation of behaviors exhibited in video games,  between killing games and actual violence, including rampage killings that have taken place since 1990; (vi) the reasoning and  conclusions drawn in the majority, concurring, and dissenting opinions in Brown v. Entertainment Merchants Association, as well as  other freedom of speech considerations relative to the regulation of video games, in light of the conclusions drawn by the commission  pursuant to (i)-(v); and (vii) the anticipated cost of any proposals to regulate video games. The commission members will play or
observe killing games directly during the course of their investigation."

So this study wants to see if games are an effective training tool. We've been told BS in the newspapers from the hack psychologists that violent games are being used in the military to break down the inhibition to kill. But this blog, written by a military trained
soldier debunks the whole thing. I quote:

"I'm not aware of any military unit that uses video games to break down the inhibition to kill. In fact, this breakdown really only occurs in one place:
Boot camp.

Boot camp doesn't even specifically concentrate on the inhibition to kill. Rather, they follow the CIA training manual for brainwashing almost point  by point, in order to instill in recruits 'instant and willing obedience to lawful orders' - that is what they do. The assumption, of course, is
that these orders may be to kill; But they could be to drag a wounded child to safety, or set up a bunker in 100 degree weather, or pull night watch  after being up for a 36-hour convoy.

The inhibition to kill can only be broken down by, wait for it . . . killing.

When we were parked on the outskirts of Fallujah and watched as night fell and the Iraqis came out onto the streets, even though our orders were much  more liberal than the current Rules of Engagement, there was still hesitation. And this after our convoy had turned around after taking fire at the  front.

When we got ambushed, it was actually unfortunate that my extensive game-playing hadn't prepared me at all for the sheer confusion, excitement, fear  and horror of those moments.

If you think America's Army is anything but a half-decent game and a lame recruitment tool, you've never run an obstacle course, or been  'quarterdecked'
by a DI.

If you think Halo can help you learn how to shoot, you've never tried to get ten in the black from 500 yards with the piece-of-shit M16A2, with your  elbows getting ground by sand trapped in your cammies and the sun causing sweat on your forehead which drips into your eyes.

Video games, or things resembling games, are being used in some areas of the military.

During training ops higher ups often pit virtual countries against each other, but these are basically pushing pieces, simulating battles and  using the troops to set up comm architectures and run test flights.

Some first-person-shooters are used by infantry troops to plan out tactics - but these are mostly for higher-level planners; Games will never,  ever take the place of constant, demanding, mind-numbing repetition. Proper execution of maneuvers rely on muscle memory; Drill, in boot camp,
forms the introduction to this doctrine.

Rainbow Six may let you breach and clear, but this doesn't translate to the motions or related actions: Which direction do you break? What  targets are you responsible for? Who can declare a room 'all clear'? Did you check your overhead?

Flight simulators seem like video games, though I'm sure those responsible for both maintaining and operating them see them more as necessary steps  to save billions of dollars worth of equipment from inexperienced hands.

If you want to know how to make a person prone to suggestion to kill, look here.

If anyone would like my breakdown of how boot camp uses the steps for Interrogation of Resistant Sources, just let me know.

The only way, then, I would even consider the argument that violent media makes for violent children is if it could be proven  that those children who have been violent were denied any sort of balancing social forces. That is, if you took a child and locked him in a room
and forced violent images day in and day out and brought them to the level of an infant and replaced their language with one of your own devising  and had them progress their violence on increasingly complex organisms -- THEN, and only then, would I be willing to entertain that the media was
a factor. And even then, it was not the cause. The cause was you, the sick fuck that provided no guidance other than a violent outlet.

That's how fascists work. They replace free social exchange with their ideas, they re-form language to their own ends  ("Quite apart from the suppression of definitely heretical words, reduction of vocabulary was regarded as an end in itself . . . "),  they make natural human sexuality taboo, they declare the War on Some Drugs, they attempt to regulate and control every aspect of human growth and exploration. They embrace stagnation of society and the mind."

The fact that the studies author is bringing this nonsense claim up to the Government is proof that the the government is trying to ban violent games again, IMHO. It must be stopped before it gets to the 90 day phase (see below), or we could have a MA ban on violent games to adults. Not to kids.

"The commission shall consist of: the Governor or a designee, who shall chair the commission; a member of the general  public appointed by the Governor; 3 members of the Senate, chosen by the Senate President, 1 of which is a member of  the minority party; 3 members of the House of Representatives that are chosen by the Speaker, 1 of which is a member of
the minority party; 1 constitutional lawyer who specializes in freedom of speech; the Massachusetts Attorney General or a  designee; 2 psychologists or psychiatrists, at least one of whom is a mental health professional specializing in addiction;  the Secretary of Education or a designee who is an educator; a member of the military who engages in military training;  a representative of the video game industry; and a representative of the law enforcement community."

At least one of the people involved has a bias against violent games if I am right. They mention "a member of the military who specializes in military training". This fits one of the Hack Psychologist to a tee. Another Hack Psychologist could be in it too if I am right, "1 constitutional lawyer who specializes in freedom of speech" sounds a lot like a retired anti-game activist everyone
in the community hates to me. They also mention how they need to study the impact of the proposed regulation on free speech, probably as a cheap way to see how they can make a constitutional law that causes violent games to not get in the hands of adults, such as the Oklahoma tax on 1% of all property every time someone in OK played, stored, bought and otherwise consumed violent games.

They also want to study how violent games have caused mass killings like columbine (I assume). Whats to stop them from not believing the nonsense spread by the idiots in the government, the media, and unknown parties that says violent games influenced Harris/Klebold/
Lanza, etc? Such things include the Doom will become reality hoax and similar "tidbits of information" that seem to make it look like mass killers played violent games but this info is badly written at the least, and is outright lies at the worse.

"Legislative appointments shall be made not later than 30 days after the effective date of this resolve. The chairperson shall  meet with the full commission not later than 90 days after the effective date of this resolve. Members shall not receive  compensation for their services but may receive reimbursement for the reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out their  responsibilities as members of the commission. Upon appropriation of sufficient funds, the commission shall engage professional "advisors as needed to accomplish its purposes.

"Not later than 270 days after the effective date of this resolve, the commission shall report to the general court the result  of its investigation and study and its recommendations, if any, together with drafts of legislation necessary to carry its  recommendations into effect by filing the same with the clerk of the House of Representatives. "

We have 90 days to stop this, gamers.  I want every gamer in MA to write their Representatives, using this message:

"Dear Representitive.

I am your constituent, and I am alarmed by the  study our senate has started dealing with video game violence and the whole idea that the effects on kids and how violent games are a training tool for the military needs to be studied. For years studies like this have been done and many are methodologically flawed, using cheap ways to say violent games lead to  violent behavior or aggression, such as subjecting the violent game playing kids to electroshock therapy. It's very important to note that any evidence that violent games cause real life crimes has to be doubted. There are many hoaxes going around and media fabrications that make it seem like violent games cause real life violence. If you do a google.com search for the "doom will become reality hoax" you will find a blog debunking a
claim that was used to "prove" eric Harris was influenced by the video game Doom while shooting up the school. This claim is a hoax, a fake website said "doom will become reality" and the FBI proved the site was not Eric Harris's real site. Also many claims are spreading that violent games break down the inhibition to kill. These are false claims spread by 2 anti-gaming activists in the 90's and the below linked site debunks them totally. The site is a blog ran by a Soldier in IRAQ, telling how violent games could never break down the inhibition to kill, and only Boot Camp obedience training does this.....

http://designsynthesis.blogspot.com/2005/03/training-our-kids-to-kill.html

I find it disgusting that the government would spend millions of tax dollar money on a bill that would
have restricted violent games to minors so adults could not buy them. There is no reason to study
the false connections between violent games and Real life killings, all invented by the media and anti-gaming groups. The hoax mentioned above was used as "evidence" against  the industry in an Anti-Gaming Group's Amicus Brief.  This group is from the Midwest, they are called the Eagle Forum, and they are pro-religious zealots who think violent games should be banned to adults and gamers should all be dealt with somehow.  They were trying to fool the Justices in the SCOTUS to think this evidence is real and not a hoax. One of the people championing the break down to kill "theory" is a zealot former lawyer who once said on the gamepolitics forums that all gamers need to get the Death Penalty. If you plan to study these things, you must be sure NOT to be swayed by these types. For they tried to sway the EMA vs BROWN Case and others..... I just don't think this study is a good thing because it looks like people like these kinds of people are on the group conducting the study.

I don't like the idea of fake evidence being used to sway any people to believe this nonsense is real.
A study like this is almost impossible to be Not swayed by people like this. I am against
it for this reason, and I hope you are too."

Send this message to your Representatives, gamers. Maybe we can get them to stop this now... If it doesn't work, I urge people to resend it over and over again, till they stop the study. Flood their Inboxes over and over again, till their network slows down, if they
fail to listen. It's important to stop nonsense like this.

Faux News is at it again! (More Anti-Gaming Trash!!)

It seems this country has to keep spewing nonsense over and over again about a non-existent link between video games and real life violence...  They wait till everyone is not thinking about it and use crap like this to attempt to start another video games moral panic. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.... But it's fucking stupid and it must stop...

A murder in Australia,  has been associated with violent games.. The police have supposedly searched the killers twitter posts to find out he played call of duty...  Like call of duty may have impacted the killers decision to shoot 3 people for the sheer fun factor of it...  Well.. When you go to the shoutbox on gamepolitics.com (where I found the article), you get an article linked in it which links to another article by an Australian News site mentioning gangs... Gangs aren't even mentioned in the fox article linked in the shoutbox. It seems Faux news has no problem with leaving out information that proves games had nothing to do with the killings when they want to pin games as the SOLE REASON... For moral panic reasons!!!!

To make things worse, there is a video in the article which part of the Faux news "medical team" rambles on about his completely bogus theory that every big mass killer since 1999 is addicted to violent games... That's mentioned in the first article I linked... This idea is preposterous, there is no proof to back it up, whatsoever. Sure Klebold and Harris among others played violent games. But the proof for V-TECH, and others is a media Fabrication coming from newspapers like this. Lanza's call of duty articles all cited one article by an english tabloid which failed to even prove he played call of duty and used that as proof that he did!  The one person linking V-TECH to Counterstrike said an article which used HIS evidence was the proof. He basically cited himself saying that there was a link when there wasn't.  In fact there is NO evidence to suggest the following people besides Harris and Klebold and Lanza were addicted to violent games...

(Eric Harris, Dylan Khebold, Seung Hui Cho, Jared Loughner, Anders Brevik, James Holmes, the eight-year-old who accidently shot his grandmother recently and the three teens who murdered an Australian tourist too)

Anders brejik was a TERRORIST who mentioned video games make great training tools. There has been no evidence to suggest he was addicted, same for James Holmes, or the rest of the list as well. None but Harris and Klebold have ANY link to video game addiction, it's bullshit.Anders played World of Warcraft, far from your average Violent Game.  James Holmes played Guitar Hero. Is that their latest "Violent" game to attack now? Really... This is stupid....

To make things worse, the medical "Expert" claims that the medical industry has found "proof" that there is a link between real life violence and video games, and has gone out to say that link exists, even though NO study has found a causation link between violent video game exposure and real life violence. The ones that attempt to find a link between violent games and aggression are extremely flawed and biased... My YouTube censoring life radio show goes into the studies a lot more... This "trusted source" then went on claiming that violent games were drugs and we need warning labels put on them, like that's gonna do anything...

This pisses me off. The last thing we need is a "trusted source" (who isn't) starting a moral panic on video game violence after it has cooled off!!! This kind of stuff is what was rampant on news stations after columbine and  the moral panic skyrocketed after that... It's frankly, disgusting....

Conspiracy to Ban violent games by our government is a REALITY!!!!!!

I am writing this article to express what I have been thinking behind the scenes of this war against violence in entertainment for years... I have been collecting evidence, looking at claims, even going deep inside conspiracy theory circles on Sandy Hook, Columbine, Marathon Bombing and more.  Until Sandy Hook, I never believed one shred of the conspiracy nonsense, but now I don't know what I believe.... But I still believe one thing that is quite controversial and it's based on tons of backed up evidence... That there is a conspiracy in this government going on since 1997 to get violent games banned after a massacre happens using fake evidence, media yellow journalism, government intervention, dozens of not to be trusted studies, and other things as well. It's a reality to me and I want to explain why I believe this, and why you should to. Especially if you are a gamer.

Lets start at the crimes themselves that lead to moral panics surrounding youth violence and entertainment violence, columbine and sandy hook especially. Marathon bombing and aurora aren't so big in this but there have been one or two people spreading lies after them so they are in the background.   If you look behind the scenes, ignoring ALL the media's claims about such crimes and go to conspiracy circles, you get tons of evidence to suggest such crimes are engineered. This helps to link this to a conspiracy but doesn't proof it's part of the conspiracy.   In Sandy Hook's case, it's been proven by the Social security that Adam lanza died 1 day before the massacre. What would this mean for the idea of a conspiracy, well, for one thing, if what social security says IS true, it makes it IMPOSSIBLE for Lanza to be the killer, so someone else must be the killer instead... So since this someone else hasn't even been investigated AT ALL by the government after  the killing (they REFUSE to investigate the possibility of the governments involvement), we have to assume they are in on it.     In columbine's case, there are TONS of student evidence to suggest more than Harris and Klebold were involved, at least 6 other people where never caught in columbine... A white man throwing bombs, a man with acne that does not look like either of the reported shooters, and more. Who are these people? Since the government never once investigated this, and the FBI has been proven to withhold evidence on the crime,  how do we know the government isn't involved in this at all. In sandy hooks case, there is also a claim of a second shooter, the police "investigated" but this guy was let go later. All of this leads to the possibility the government is involved in BOTH crimes....

But the real proof of the conspiracy lies somewhere else, in the investigation of nonsense spread after the school shootings themselves by both known and Unknown parties.  This nonsense is almost always of an anti-gaming nature, making it look like the shooter was solely influenced by violent games.  I did several articles discussing hoaxes perpetrated by unknown parties that seem to be used  to cause an outcry against violent games and even in the Supreme court to hijack EMA vs Brown. Such hoaxes are quite devious and NO one has even investigated and punished the perpetrators of these, especially the "Doom will become Reality" hoax. Supposedly Harris Said Doom Will Become Reality on his website. But the page was not his site, it was uploaded on April 21, 1999, one day after the massacre and It was proven by the FBI to be Fake later. But the sheer amount of attack sites, sites ran by extremist groups, all hell bent on making violent games look bad after columbine, Especially Doom, have used this claim as proof that doom caused Columbine. Later on a news article on some website said this site was not Harris's Real AOL page but a fake page, but later on this site was simply taken off line!! A coverup?

Even more Sinister, the Conspiracy idea is brought further to light with the Newspaper articles of 1999 that claim Harris modified Doom to use in training for the massacre. Three articles all basically said the same basic premise, A Hate site tracking group found a modified version of Doom on harris's Site. But each article had different, contradictory features, some not even possible to even Do in Doom in 1999.  One said that this modified version had 2 shooters, infinite ammo, and the  first shooter who ran out of Ammo died first (An Impossibility to do with doom in 1999!), another article took this last part out and claimed the version had infinite weapons, ammo, 2 shooters, and begging students saying a quote. Then Denverpost ran a similar article without these modified features mentioned but  the quote was Changed, and the way it was said was also changed, but all three articles mention  the same hate site tracking group, even going so far to quote their members, but when I did searches for this groups corroboration of this version on their website, I could not find it!
My article on this goes into this in more detail for people who are more interested in this part. It's a long read but interesting anyway..  The real issue, is like the "Doom Will become Reality" Hoax, this has also been used on dozens of dozens of attack sites to demean the industry after the Industry, even though it's fake!  It was also used in the EMA vs Brown Hijacking mentioned above as well.

Doing research into the nonsense studies that attempt to prove violent games cause real life violence, you get evidence of groups like the Center for Successful Parenting wanting to "change" culture to get rid of the violence (to ban it really), and earlier studies had .PDF files online that mentioned previous studies had used Electroshock therapy to bias their results, only on the kids who played violent  games in the study to boot. But later on, searching for this .PDF file in the same exact search, showed that it was deleted! So was the Amicus Brief that cited the 2 hoaxes. It was taken down too, the link that worked during Brown VS EMA, all of the sudden was taken down and there was no way to back up the claim that they used fake evidence besides my own blog saying it was. I never even bothered screenshotting the Amicus brief in question, not knowing it would be taken down. Conspiracy?

In Sandy Hook's case the Media nonsense was almost as bad.  Right after the massacre, Adam Lanza's brother Ryan was identified as the shooter.  When he supposedly liked Mass Effect's Page on Facebook, a bunch of Religious Zealot trolls attacked the site to try to flood it in an attempt to take it down while harassing gamers with religious hate threats ("Burn in hell", etc). The thing is none of these trolls are even on Facebook, I checked, looking for any of these attackers, and ALL Their accounts were nonexistent. It's like a certain mid western religious zealot/pro family/anti freedom/gaming group used a bunch of fake accounts to take down Mass Effect's Site..... No investigation was done into this.... More Ammo to prove a Conspiracy.

Even after that, when the guardian, a tabloid from England ran an article that Attempted to prove that Adam Lanza Played Call of Duty , but Failed, despite this failure, dozens of dozens of newspapers quoted the article as Proof  he played COD, all at once, like 50 in one day!!!!

Then you get into what I call the Tornado of Bullshit, a never ending cycle of nonsense that seems to be brought up over and over again by the media, the government and others, that always seems to fuel censorship or violent games legislation. Here is a diagram to show this off:

In this diagram the same thing seems to happen over and over again...
A) A school shooting happens, it is blamed on Violent games
B) Fake evidence such as the hoaxes, is used to "prove it", hack psychologists go on talk shows
and say violent games are used to break down the inhibition to kill, (a Lie)
C) Hoaxes get debunked but sites get mysteriously shut down later
D) Public Outcry Happens
E) The Government gets involved and demands changes
F) Unknown parties instigate "Evidence Gathering Campaigns" against gaming sites, to prove gamers get violent for the things to come. Tactics such as harassment, abuse, threatening their lives while using fake names happen. This leads to fake evidence being gathered using abusive tactics.
G) Senate Hearings happen.
H) Studies are done to link violent games to aggression
I) Hack psychologists claim  these studies prove "Violence!" not aggression
J) More Public Outcry,
K) More Senate Outcry, this time legislation is brought up
L) Legislation fails and goes to the supreme court
M) The Hoaxes are used to sway the justices by pro family/anti-gaming groups
N) The justices find the law unconstitutional...
O) Now the hack psychologists call gamers druggies and sociopaths
P) Other fake "media violence experts" lie and say their life is being threatened
Q) More public outcry, more fake evidence, more Legislation!

In this conspiracy theory, who is involved? Good Question..... The government is part of this but they are far from the only people... Any news writer mentioning fake evidence is definitely in on this, that includes the writers of the 3 articles that claimed a fake version of doom was found on Harris's site. Any public outcry group that uses fake evidence against games, is possibly involved (depends on if they know it's fake or not, doesn't it?). Then the right wing zealot groups who tried to hijack Brown vs Ema, they are definitely part of this... Anyone who takes part in evidence gathering campaigns or Video game Slander attack campaigns like the Facebook Mass Effect BS trolling mentioned above is probably involved.... In the Denverpost.com forum debacle linked in the Evidence Gathering Campaign link above, the Email Services (justicemail), the Forum itself, the thread the forum took place on, the post the troll posted claiming he had found evidence that the gamers get violent (by our responses), all of this got mysteriously deleted no more than 3 years later... Conspiracy? I say YES!!!!

What does this mean for the future of gaming... It's not good, that's for sure.... Every time a school shooting happens and "proof" is found the shooter like violent games, be wary of it. Most of the time it's fabricated, made up proof, part of a much bigger scheme.... I don't trust any site claiming to show a link between a school shooter, and a motive involving video games making him commit the crime, such evidence such as the hoaxes are just that, Nonsense hoaxes perpetrated by the people involved in this conspiracy to fuck with our freedoms... Who knows if the real perpetrators of Sandy Hook, Columbine (?), Marathon Bombings, etc, are in on it too. Those are brought up to make people think before I went into the meat of the article, proof of a coverup, the first step to prove a conspiracy... I'm not sure myself if Columbine was a false flag, or if Sandy Hook Was, but if the evidence Social Security has given was NOT a mistake on  their part, then it MUST BE.... And people must act... How they must act is dependant of the future events attacking violent games in the Media, the Government etc.... Don't let the Administration fake evidence to make violent games look like a Culprit if PROOF has been found Lanza died 1 day before... IMHO, Taking away violent games is part of a much bigger conspiracy to control our minds.  Also part of this is constant boot camp style brainwashing done at a lower but not friendly intensity to make people perfectly loyal, controlled subjects during the Education process from 2nd grade till the graduate college. Gaming, Sexuality, Music, Entertainment, Our right to get third party music (what RIAA is fighting), Our right to bear arms, our right to privacy, our right to fair and legal justice (their is none anymore, murderers get off and innocents like Aaron Swartz are put to death every day for crimes they did not commit), all of this goes against control. All of it. So it's a no brainier, that if they are conspiring to control us all, why would they NOT conspire to get rid of stuff that makes it harder for them to do that in the first place?

Obscure, now nonexistant Flash Game to blame for Sandy Hook? NRA are idiots!!!!

I know this is old news to many gamers, But when I read this, I immediately laughed but then got angry at how serious nonsense like this is... Behold, Wayne Lapierre and the NRA have got a vendetta against violent games, because in their mind, they have to scapegoat violent entertainment like all these gun nuts do all the time. In a lot of cases, I have seen, Gun Nuts tend to be anti-gamers. Which is worse, violent games or people Selling tools of REAL violence, that only a nutcase like Lanza or Harris would want to use to harm real people in a school shooting... Where are the other Millions of gamers committing school shootings once per week in the country, caused by their constant "exposure to violent games".  They don't exist. That's right, because Gamers for the most part Are not violent... The Few shooters that committed mass school shootings like Harris had Other Issues, like being raped by the police (!!! The real cause for columbine !!! not violent games!!! ), we don't even know Lanza's issue yet... Yet the scapegoating from the Nationalist Rhetoric ASSociation continues...   hmm...   So the NRA has to stifle the blame for something they may have caused. If they had nothing to do with this, why all the publicity on attacking a violent flash game that Doesn't exist anymore (Kindergarten Killers)   ?

It's not the first time some random 10 year old super violent game like Postal 2 has been used as an excuse to attack the gaming industry (in the media after Brown VS EMA dozens of articles kept on spewing nonsense about 99% of violent games having features like "peeing on kids", that were, Surprise(!) only found in Postal 2, One Damn game!!! )  But in this case the game was a random flash game hosted on a website that deleted it later, newgrounds.com, and the gaming industry, has Nothing to do with it... It's like Lapoopierre decided to look around for ONE game, flash or not that had murdering little kids part of it. He couldn't find a single one marketed by  the Industry as a real ESRB rated title (because it doesn't exist, DUH! - Despite how many idiots after columbine in newspapers tried to call Doom a School Shooting Simulator... More on that later).

To make things worse, this game wasn't even POPULAR on newgrounds.com. It was taken down in 2008! It hardly was a Big Smash hit all the 2 year olds are playing behind their mothers back because the "ESRB rated it teen like they do to all uber violent games because the industry is selling filth to our toddlers!".  Bullshit. This game wasn't even a real Boxed game. But you know what? Do the NRA really care? Of course they dont!  Because it's the scapegoat for the industry they have chosen and it will be used as proof that all violent ESRB rated games are like that in millions of biased, stupid, payed for by the NRA, news articles next. Mark my words. Just like Postal 2, which also wasn't even remotely popular, and crappy too...

The worst thing, is this game is the LAST you want to use as a scapegoat. It is so Amateurly made... It is gory, but it has super hand drawn graphics that make it look so cheap, that trying to call it a "realistic depiction of real school violence" (they will try this...) is utterly stupid. You can't even move around in the game, it's all aiming and killing. If you kill the kids in each of the scenes, who all fight back(! - WTF! Yes they are all armed!!! Highly realistic... ) you go to the next scene. If you don't you die. It's strictly a flash shooting gallery game, sick, yes, disgusting, yes, but Realistic and bound to make kids shoot up a real school? NO WAY IN Hell. Too cartoony. Even a 10 year old can tell it's not real life....

That's besides the point here. The point is the NRA scapegoating is using something (on purpose) to demean 99% of the violent games that aren't even that violent, and don't have this kind of disgusting purpose (shooting up a school).  A previous article of mine debunked 5 extra violent game myths using a spreadsheet documenting all 605 PC FPS game releases. One was the idea that all violent games are uber violent... I quote:

"Ok… This isn’t so much a claim but a pattern among articles “damning”
Violent video games.  These articles use examples from 1 or 2 violent
games that are what I call “Uber Violent” games as proof that
“most games” are like them. Uber violent games are a rare thing.
What’s the definition of “Uber violent games”? Games that are so
violent that most people would find them tastlessly violent.
Out of all 605 FPS games ever made, only 4.46% are “Uber Violent”
like this. Only 14.81% of all 81 Popular FPS games could be
considered Uber Violent. These “Popular Uber Violent” Fps games
only make 1.98% of all FPS games ever released! (605)"

That's right, this 1 Example of a game that isn't a real Game marketed by the industry is being used
to demean Thousands of games that don't even come close, simulated combat with aliens/demons/zombies/etc is being scapegoated for causing the shooting,  by using an example from a poorly done FAN MADE CRAPPY ARCADE GAME.... Yeah... NRA is really pushing it.... The nonsense continues.

BEHOLD! More Anti-gaming nonsense (and media Lies!!!!) From CCFC.

Lo and behold, The nonsense surrounding violent games causing violence, has not ended!!!! After the newtown shooting which EVERYONE in the media seemed to blame on violent games. Enter the newest peice of nonsense by the Campaign for a Commercial free Childhood, or what I think they are really trying to be, campaign for censoring for kids...  This article written by a moron from this group on times.com spreads complete nonsense about violent games, without shame, without any recourse, shocking!!!!

So these idiots want a "dialogue" about the "effects" of violent games on kids (to them "effects" are making kids directly want to shoot up a school, nothing less... They want that result, that's why the mentioned the link as being "almost as great" as the link from smoking cigarrates to cancer. A bullshit excuse everyone uses). Lets begin the debunking of this nonsense:

"Research repeatedly demonstrates that, for children, exposure to violent video games, movies and television programs is a risk factor for becoming desensitized to violence, lack of sympathy for victims and aggressive behavior. Proponents for allowing purveyors of violent media unfettered access to children dismiss the research because it is correlational and not causal."

I went through such research in another post on wordpress and many of the studies are so flawed that it becomes doubtful that they were done for any other purpose to fraudulently find a link between violent games and aggression so the hack psychologists could use them to claim "violent games cause kids to become violent", which they repeatedly did, misinterpreting the studies. I saw evidence that the study creators purposely hid certain facts from the public, like the fact that they use Electroshock therapy to increase aggression in the violent game playing kids, only to find that the PDF that proved this "disappeared" off the internet a few days after I exposed their nonsense.  Brainscan studies done by certain groups were all funded by one group, the "center" for successful parenting" who's goal is to  get the medical community, the government and others "change culture" to get rid of violence in entertainment, aka ban violent games and worse, with many of these studies which are all quite fraudulent.  Now the stakes are higher because morons like Nader and Boykin are saying indirectly that they lead to child molestation, or urges of paedophilia, to cause a moral panic.  With such studies linking one thing (violent games) to another (aggression) and dozens of groups saying that it proves something completely different (violent games make kids violent), and then the bombshell that these studies are fraudulent and were funded by groups who want to get rid of all violence in entertainment, It's hard to even say this claim from the article is even true, it's just rhetoric designed to "change" culture. The discussion will be about banning violent games, it will come up, and so will paedophilia and child molestation as the next "crime" associated with games and gamers. We gamers are already lowlifes, morons, "gamer shitheads" , people who "should have been aborted", druggies and even school shooters in the minds of the wackjob anti-gamers out there, what's to stop them from adding child molestation, rape, and worse to the "effects" of violent games we "exhibit".

"But public health policy is often based on correlation between behavior and harm, and the correlation between media violence and aggression is almost as strong as the link between smoking cigarettes and lung cancer — and stronger than other acknowledged public health threats such as the links between not using a condom and sexually transmitted H.I.V., and early exposure to lead and lower I.Q. scores."

The claim that the "correlation"  between violent games and harm (notice they said "harm" like in violence here, not aggression (like becoming angry here). is as strong as the link between smoking and cancer, is complete nonsense not even proven by a single study, it's something anti-gamers like this writer have said over and over again in articles attacking games, but not once has any one else even said it's true. The proof that the studies are all fraudulent and funded by people who want to "change" culture to get rid of violent entertainment, makes them all flawed and not trustworthy in my mind. Any negative bias in the study makes it flawed.  Bias = BAD.

"Regardless of the role violent media played or didn’t play in the tragic Newtown shootings, children are harmed by frequent exposure to movies, video games, music and TV programs that glorify violence. We shouldn’t let the National Rifle Association’s smoke and mirrors, or the urgent need for gun control and effective, readily available mental health services, distract from the problem of media violence."

A little contradictory. Isn't it. this group CCFC is clearly using the tragedy to push their agenda of "stopping" media violence, and this paragraph proves it.  If the the Newtown Shooting did NOT have any contributing  factors from violent games, there is no way that this witch hunt over the violence in games being "examined" by more studies is even needed. But according to them they are still not sure that games caused Newtown. But do they care?

Returning to the quotes from the article on the New York times:

"We need to stop allowing children to be targets for marketing violent media,"

"Violent Media" targets kids? A peice on my other blog debunking 5 big anti-violent games myths completely debunks this claim, which is claim 4 in the peice. Quoting my explaination of how this is a myth:

"This myth is less drastic than the first one, but is still constantly spread around. The truth is this one has been used in many different ways, all claiming violent games are marketed to kids for different reasons. There isn’t one common reason why this is true… But My article on this (here) basically says that the ESRB ratings are often misconstrued as GOVT enforced by people who do the same thing with MPAA ratings.. They are both voluntary ratings and if a store doesn’t enforce them they don’t get in Legal trouble, unlike what the common belief is.  So when you get a biased study like the PTC ‘secret shopper survey’ that says stores sell M rated games to kids 80% of the time, you get people thinking that the industry is marketing games to kids.
The truth is that a recent FTC study says ESRB ratings are even better than MPAA ratings and enforcement in stores… but that doesn’t really disprove the myth…. What does, however is the target demographic of the industry is 18-35 year olds, according to this page. I have heard this on many articles in gaming sites, so I trust it….  If it were 5-9 year olds like all the anti-gamers keep saying then I wouldn’t even try to debunk this… But I have never heard any kind of evidence to support the biased claim that violent games are marketed to kids that isn’t something ridiculous like “violent game ads in our subway”, or “kids in a game store that sells violent  games that could be seen by a kid”, or recently someone on a forum said this great claim “Look at all the Lego games, proof violent games are marketed to kids” after saying that since there were violent game ads ‘everywhere’ the claim must be true. Basically it’s a lie."

Complete idiocy and fearmongering and fake evidence/media lie spreading won't help to fix the issues that caused Newtown. In fact no one has even done any actual medical testing to see what issues Adam Lanza even had (mental illnesses ,etc). It's all scapegoating and nonsense spreading.... It's sick and it needs to stop. The country does NOT need to have an Open Discussion on how violent games "Corrupt" kids by making them violent or want to rape babies. We DONT need more scapegoating!

Ralph nader calls gaming companies "Electronic Child Molestors". We're child molestors now. SIGH....

Reading gamepolitics.com I came across this lovely little article. Apparently Ralph Nader is jumping on the fucking stupid bandwagon started by that preacher I mentioned before in a previous article,  that violent games cause real life child molestation to cause a huge panic that will lead to them getting banned and gamers possibly put on sexual offender's registries...... I quote...

"We are in the peak of [violence in entertainment]. Television program violence? Unbelievable. Video game violence? Unprecedented, I think he should sensitize people that they should protect their children family by family from these kinds of electronic child molesters."

Electronic Child Molesters? I thought that preacher was the only moron saying this... Apparently there ARE other idiots trying to claim that Violent games actually cause child molestation. This is disgusting... There is not one shread of credible evidence, NOT ONE, to prove that violent games have caused child molestation... NOT one child molestation case with a link to violent games, not one school shooter with links to pedophilia, NOT ONE!!!! These claims are complete fabrications being pulled out of people's asses for the sole purpose to cause a moral panic. The preacher before posted his crap on youtube and millions heard. Now Nader echos this statement, a nonsense claim with no proof, whatsoever... I don't have to keep saying the industry does NOT market violent games to fucking 2 year olds, but again I will, ESA did a study that proves that the average age of gamers is 34. Thirty-fucking four..

There is absolutely no proof that video gaming companies are taking advantage of "innocent little children", who are far from innocent, breaking computers, torturing cats, throwing fits, biting random people, you name it!!!  So fucking be it... No one even cares.... But once someone even dares to claim that violent gaming industry is perpetrating pedophilia and child molestation, the nonsense will begin again.

The Oklahoma Legislation and the recent claim by Obama that he will get the CDC to investigate video game violence, will no doubt spiral out of control to mention this Bullshit claim that violent games cause child molestation. There is absolutely no excuse for this. No proof whatsoever. Then billions of anti-gaming groups will do falsified studies to "prove" that violent games cause child molestation, leading to another attempted ban on violent games and more drastic action, like putting all gamers in "brainwashing" camps to get rid of "paedophile" urges that don't exist by cruel treatment, harassment, exhaustion, electroshock therapy and even beating the "urges" out of people. Sounds like a nightmare to me... But it's what these people want!!! Mark my words!!!

I personally know 15 people who have played violent games. NONE of us have ever had the urge to molest children. NONE. Where is this crap coming from? it has to end.... I plan to oppose this by starting at least one petition on whitehouse.gov. This bullshit has gone far enough!!!

Again with the legislation of Morality, the Missouri Game Tax Plan...

So I was looking through slashdot.com and Came up with this lovely article... Basically some Senator or something from Missouri wants to put a 1% tax on violent games that will fund treatment for "mental illnesses associated with exposure to  violent games". Blah. If the whole idea that violent games lead to child molestation brought up "indirectly" by Mr. Holier than Thou  isn't bad enough,  it now turns out that this 1% tax may also tax people who "use" or "consume" violent games in "this state". Read this.. (Section 1024 second page). Whether "this state" means Missouri or USA I don't know... because state can also mean country not one of the states of the US.

Now I need to do the following. I am posting a screenshot of the pdf in case they try to change or delete it which the anti-gamers have done in many cases (hide their evidence, or shut down sites debunking it).

The troubling part is the quoted part of section 1024 but I want to go first into the whole "mental illnesses associated with exposure to violent video games". To put it bluntly.... THERE ARE NONE.. The whole idea that violent video game exposure causes mental illnesses is based solely on a mutated version of 2 claims, the claim that Violent Games cause violence and that school shootings are caused by mental illnesses. The claimer just claimed that violent games cause mental illnesses for an excuse for whatever unethical "treatment" the "state" has for gamers. Now what do I mean by "treatment"...... Brainwashing.

Already mental illnesses are already being treated through military discipline, AKA Drill Instructors screaming, threatening, and abusing people to make them follow orders. This is the kind of "treatment" people like this want!!!  To fund this kind of "treatment" they want to steal tax payer dollars? Number 1, any kind of "military discipline" on any civilian should be outlawed. It involves verbally abusing people, intimidating people, working them till they are exhausted, depriving them of sleep, giving them no rights, then finally beating and/or raping them into submission. In a christian fat camp run with military discipline in Alabama or some other Southern state, several cases of instructors sexually abusing children occurred and it was shut down. Stuff like this doesn't happen in military boot camps but this law was drafted in Missouri. There already is a generation of (mostly) Military Vets that think we "aren't disciplined" enough and want mandatory boot camp for all 10 year olds, even if they aren't in the military, because we are all out of control. These people run their houses just like Military Boot camps complete with the abuse to beat and (maybe, I don't know) rape their children into submission. They want this to happen to everyone? You really want people to be beaten into submission to treat an Illness that doesn't exist. Already in the country electroshock therapy is happening in cases where "mental illness" is diagnosed in people the Bush administration did not like. You want the "next step" to happen to anyone exposed to violent games?
I sure do not. Half of my whole school was and we showed NO sign of violent behavior or mental illnesses. The idea that violent games cause mental illnesses is BS.

Now to get into the Tax Plan in section 1024 once this brainwashing BS is off my chest.  I quote:

"In addition to any other tax provided for by law, there is hereby levied
upon persons storing, using, or otherwise consuming within this state, tangible personal
property purchased or brought into this state, an excise tax on the storage, use, or other
consumption in this state of all violent video games, based on the gross receipts or purchase
price of such property at a rate of one percent."

This seems to enact a tax for merely playing a game in "this state", while being ambiguous on what "this state" actually means, Missouri, Or all of the country. "tangible personal property" means anything someone owns in "this state". Now the real problem is that anyone who brings this "property" into "this state" now has to pay an additional 1% "excise" tax just to "store, use or consume" any or all violent games. 1) How will this be enforced. Will they barge into people's homes and demand daily payment for all the "violent games" used or stored or consumed in any people's homes in Missouri or the USA, which? There is no way in hell that taxing people for doing any of these things is even needed. These people clearly want to get big funds quick and don't care if the entire gaming hobby just dissapears overnight due to  the million of people selling their video games because they can't afford the OBSCENE tax for simply PLAYING a violent game! I wonder if this was drafted to kill off gaming, because I think it would.

What goal do these taxes have? To make the gaming industry die, that's what. What tax would be effective enough for this goal? A) making games so expensive that no one can afford them cutting into the gaming industries? B) taxing all the companies so much that they cannot function without going out of business? or C) Taxing the fans of violent games so much that having them is not worth it so why buy them or even own them? A) won't work unless a 50% tax of violent games at stores is levied. For b) you need a 90% tax or so to affect all gaming companies, but C) which what this bill proposes "indirectly" (make no mistake, this could be abused like crazy to do this), only requires a 1% tax on people who own violent games in "this state".

"This state" (meaning Missouri), is DISGUSTING. Trying to extort money from owners of violent video games to the point where they are bankrupt themselves to "treat" victims of "mental illnesses caused by violent games" which don't exist, is a huge corruption of normal politics that must end.... If you are in Missouri or even in other states I highly recommend talking to your REP's about this. This COULD spiral out of control. DO you really want to owe millions for OWNING a violent game, or be sent to a "correctional facility" for being a gamer?

Is the Government spying on people who watch youtube?

So, I was watching youtube, after hearing several horror stories about youtube bandwith being throttled by certain ISP's in America, from forums and such. So I decided to search on youtube to find out if someone had posted a video about it. Well I did. This video, was done by the author of the video I found which proved that certain ISPS are throttling youtube, through a hidden file that only can be accessed in windows explorer if you turn the "show all system files" feature in folder options on, not the "show hidden files" feature, mind you. This folder called "Content.IE5" is super hidden, and found on any machine that the main user uses IE as a default browser. It contains among other things, cache files from any site you visited, html files from sites you visit, but what really scared me, is that it also contains screenshots and in some cases, copied .flv files of certain youtube videos, taken of certain, but not all youtube videos you watch.

The person who did the above video, mentioned how he found this folder on his PC during a defragging and found the hidden folder with copied .flv files  of conspiracy theorist type video's only, but not other videos he had watched.  So he surmised IE has a secret system that was being used to spy on people by the government to find anti government types. I don't know if that's true, but if IE is in fact taking screenshots of certain youtube video's and not others, then it is a bad thing for everyone who still uses that really badly designed browser. So I decided to see for myself what would happen If I purposely browsed in IE on youtube for a 2 day test.

Since I didn't want to get hit with a nasty virus, I knew I would have to sandbox IE, like I do to any browser. I use Sandboxie on all my browsers due to nasty virus attacks I have gotten 2 times in the last 4 years on my PC, both unclean able by Antivirus products and both completely devastating my PC.  It's the only way to really prevent a virus attack these days. Antivirus software really sucks and doesn't prevent stuff at all due to many people on youtube reviewing them (look up mrizos on youtube), and finding out how much virus attacks they do not block. So I sandboxed my browser. But the other reason I sandboxed it was that sandboxie forces IE to put this folder in a plainly visible part of the sandbox I can freely copy to any part of my PC later. So after I was finished with youtube, I could simply just copy the folder "Content.IE5" to another folder and view that in Windows Explorer like the video I saw on youtube did.

So I started yesterday browsing youtube and other sites in a sandboxed IE session to see what youtube would be screenshoted to my Content.IE5 folder. What I found would shock me. I browsed a whole bunch of video's, from video game walkthroughs, to politcal type videos, which fit into 2 topics, anti-censorship, and anti-violent games BS. The anti-censorship videos mainly dealt with the TPP treaty I wrote about in my previous article. The anti-violent game BS  stuff were just video's posted by gamers, in a VBLOG format talking about how the whole link between violent games and violent crimes is utter BS. There is a lot of that on youtube, apparently. So I finished watching the videos and went back to my browser of choice, Chrome last night and posted some more blogs here. But before I went to bed I examined the content.ie5 folder I had copied out of my sandbox. What it showed is that screenshots of the video game playthroughs and the Anti-TPP videos were taken, at certain intervals. Simply excusing this as cache images of the video thumbnails doesn't add up, because multiple video's of one particular anti-TPP video made by a Japanese business man were found, and I knew right away that they were not thumbnails, more like regular screenshots taken by whatever program was taking them.

Strangely, absolutely none of the anti-video game violence videos were screenshotted at all, but the pictures from a descent 2 walkthrough were. It didn't make sense to me. But then I remembered what the video I watched earlier that got me into this said, it was mostly anti-government stuff that got screenshotted. So then it hit me. Something on my PC was somehow taking screenshots of certain video's that could be seen as a threat to the government or any legislation the public could oppose greatly, such as TPP, at least that's what I was thinking when I viewed these images that were in the subfolders of Content.IE5.

Now to prove that these screenshots have a ton taken of Anti-TPP video's being played, do a search on youtube for any video about the Trans-Pacific Partnership, and you will get many video's that these screenshots came from. It seems like tons of video's that attacked the TPP got multiple screenshots taken of them but other video's I watched before attacking violent games censorship and ones saying violent games do not make people violent did not.

But the truth gets even scarier when you see what it screenshotted today. I decided to continue my IE test after clearing the sandbox so that the images above would not be copied to the new folder, then logged into youtube in IE sandboxed, and decided to completely watch a different type of video, rant videos made by gamers, ranting about violent games being linked to real crimes, like Columbine, the V-tech shooter, the Norway shooter, and the Aurora Shooter, all by the media. I watched a good 10 different video's, some really badly done, some really well done. Yet only one video uploaders video's were screenshotted, the one who was the most cynical and humorous by far, someone who happened to be Australian. This guys video seen here is what was captured, and other videos I watched by him were also captured. But the only thing is that only his videos were screenshotted, not the other 10 or so  I watched before. The thing is that the screenshot capturing done by whatever was doing it was logging his video's and no one elses. Now in australia there has been the biggest BS about violent games out of any country. Games over there if not good enough for the censors, they got banned, at least until the new law legalizing R18+ ratings went through. There has been a lot of morons in their government Bullshitting about how violent games cause crime, blah, blah, blah, including a certain former Parliment member who like a certain internet troll seen on gamepolitics, made it no secret that he thought gamers are shitheads, druggies, etc. So the bias against violent games, their companies, and the people who play them is really strong over there in the government, at least certain right wing groups, christian lobby, blah, blah, blah.  Another video screenshotted in the following videos shows another video game violence BS debunking done by a guy with long hair and a hat, which is also quite vulgar at times but makes the damn point it was meant to, which is all that counts. Somehow the screenshotter, which is unnkown to me what program it actually is, is screenshotting these video's as well. So it's screenshotting video game playthroughs of certain games but not others, but is screenshotting tons of Anti-TPP video's, and certain videos attacking attacks made against violent games by youtube content providers, but not all of them. Go figure. Here are the screenshots that were taken today to show I am not making this up:

As you can see, certain screenshots are quite mundane and can be debunked as cached images, but the sheer amount of anti-gaming BS and anti-censorship video's are quite high in these...  Now I cannot rule out the posibility my PC is Infected, allthough multiple Antivirus scans show nothing on the PC. However, this is quite scary to people who don't want their privacy violated. Who knows what is being done with these screenshots. Another video made by the person who discovered this on youtube, suggested that youtube bandwidth throttling and snooping on email accounts from free email services like yahoo mail and gmail was being done through other files in this folder. Since I would never trust the swiss cheeze that is IE to log in to my email account, I didn't even test that, even in a sandbox. It's quite scary how certain programs may be used to watch people who certain members of the government may think are a threat. You simply are not secure anymore online. I highly suggest that people sandbox their browsers, switch from IE, due to it's virus problems at the very least, install chrome instead and make sure that they visit sites like yahoo mail, or any other site that requires a log in and password with HTTPS enabled. You can download a free plugin called HTTPS enforcer to do that, and firefox users can use another plugin called HTTPS everywhere to automate this. It will help people stay anonymous online because HTTPS enables encrypted connections to every site that can use it if it uses it at all, and if TPP does pass this is at least a temporary solution to prevent "Deep packet Inspection" from being abused to sniff your data by ISPS who would give it to the government, incase data like that gets abused to arrest people for fraudulent reasons.
