I just wrote my first petition at we the people. This petition would petition the Obama Admin to make it illegal for newspapers and pro-censorship groups to make up nonsense surrounding violent games The punishment would be licenses revoked and jail time. I basically said, "the media lies to create a moral panic on violent
video games, it's like yelling fire in a movie theater, why are they
allowed to do this when we aren't?", and cited the most dastardly lie
ever, the "doom will become reality hoax". It's up there, but won't be visible till I get 150 signatures.
I need gamers out there who agree with me to sign the petition. Here is the link:

Adam Lanza "Score Sheet" Hoax is the latest of crap BS attacking Games.
My previous 2 articles go into a supposed deranged gamer "Score
Sheet" Adam Lanza made, which detailed the weapon types, kill count and
other things on 500 murders. An Article by a New York Newspaper claimed
the Police found this spreadsheet, and said it was 7 foot by 4 foot, and
had 500 murders on it. Only problem is that for 500 names to fit in a
spreadsheet, it would have to be made in a smaller font than the 9 font
they said it had. Only 420 names can fit on a spreadsheet that is 7 feet
tall in a 9 font.
The original article attacked games and gamers heavily, claiming Adam Lanza was trying to outdo previous shooters done by gamers in a "video game world" when he shot up Newtown. They also claimed killing yourself was preferrable in their stupid BS "Code of a Gamer" to being caught because other "gamers" (they mean school shooters) could take your "points" you were trying to earn while shooting up a school. This whole article stereotyped gamers by trying to say gamers = murderers and is quite disgusting at the least, and hate speech at the worst.
Dozens of newspapers cited this crap and spread the anti-gamer stereotype even further by doing so, each one of the articles citing the original mentions the BS code of a gamer and how gamers live violent fantasies by trying to commit school massacres in their own sick real life version of the games they play. Not a single one of these articles attacked the original for this nonsense, not a single one, and that's telling. You'd think in this day and age, anti-gamer stereotyping would be attacked massively but the gamers just don't care. None of them complained. NONE. I'm the only one complaining, long after the fact, because I recently found out that there are still articles from more recent times citing this crap. And it pisses me off.
But what really pisses me off is the fact that the writer made up a bunk spreadsheet claim, used it to attack gamers and games, and the Government of Connecticut themselves said it was real. It's the latest in a long line of BS claims being used against violent games, and the first fake evidence claim I've seen to be used against gamers themselves. It stereotypes all gamers as adam lanza wannabees with their 500 name spreadsheets and murder fantasies. Most Real gamers don't do crap like this. Most don't obsess over murders, guns, and violence in general. We may play violent games but most enjoy the games for the challenge, story, and atmosphere, NOT the violence. The whole stereotype that gamers are violent sociopaths is being spread by the initial article AND the articles citing it and therefore also by the Connecticut government because they are claiming the spreadsheet is real and it is a product of an anti-gaming article so by default they are spreading the stereotype as well.
Previous fake evidence claims always were about demonizing games themselves by providing "evidence" that shooters killed real people due to the violent games influence. The Doom will become reality hoax, a fake Eric harris website did this, it had a page saying "on april 21'st the fires will light up, doom will become reality", making it look like Doom Influenced Harris. FBI proved it was fake by figuring out the site went up after the massacre, but still hundreds of articles tried to use this to attack Doom. 3 Newspapers conspired after this, to make up a claim stating that a hate site tracking group found a Modified version of doom that Harris used to "train" for the massacre, complete with begging students in the game. Only issue is that the features mentioned could not have been done in doom till 2001 at the earliest (long after Harris was Dead). But people still used this to attack Doom as well in articles citing this. This even got spread to the American Psychological association and was cited in a paper done by them that tried to claim Violent games make people violent. The previous hoax was put in an Amicus Brief by the Eagle forum for Brown Vs EMA to try to sway the Supreme Court with faked evidence. Both of these didn't go as far as to Stereotype gamers. The newest one does, and it's a change for the Anti-gamers, a change that is NOT needed!
If Connecticut is using this evidence to demonize gamers, they have stepped to a new low here. Saying he Spreadsheet is real is one thing, but then citing the article that said it's the work of a "video gamer" by making us all look like Adam Lanza Clones is Disgusting. I plan to Go to Connecticut soon within a month or so. I want to see how far this BS has spread. I will order a Doom Shirt online and go into a Wendies in a Connecticut town (wish it was Newtown but my families day trip to Connecticut is way to far away from there), and see if people give me any dirty looks or crap like that. If they do, it's more evidence Connecticut has become the next Colorado in terms of violent game moral panic related BS.
I don't know what will stop crap like this, other than massively limiting the powers of the media to spread false truths. That's the only thing that will help to me. The problem with that is that neither major party would support this idea. Democrats hate violent games. They would never support something that stops their allies from spreading lies about such games, which fuels the moral panics needed to get their bills voted in. Republicans love the big businesses. The media businesses are HUGE. There is no way they will support it either due to this. So basically this means that crap like this is going to happen and nothing can be done about it. What can be done about it is gamers actually calling out journalists that make up stupid claims like this that demonize gamers. Let them feel your wrath. Gamers aren't doing enough to protest this kind of stuff. When it's obvious it's fake and it makes gamers look bad, post comments on the newspaper article saying you don't like it. This can actually work if enough people did this. Bad comments can make a newspaper look bad. That can get them to have bad reputations. If they were flooded with negative comments over their article they might think twice about spewing the same vile shit again. But the problem is that gamers aren't willing to do this. They are too pre-occupied with games to really care.

Adam Lanza's "Score Sheet" Spreadsheet is a Hoax designed to Stereotype Gamers
For years, news writers have been claiming Adam Lanza created a massive 7 by 4 foot spreadsheet detailing previous killers murders. The article that it first was mentioned in had massive anti-gamer stereotyping in it, claimed it as a "gamer score sheet", mentioned a bullshit "code of a gamer" which says it's preferable to kill yourself then to be caught, and other nonsense.
The police and the state of Connecticut have been massively anti-gaming from the get go, back to the time of Senator Lie-Berman's BS. It's no surprise they are using this against gamers, but I still don't like it. The article stereotypes gamers as murderers, and the police are directly behind the nonsense in that article. Nonsense? Well according to me, this spreadsheet cannot exist.
Why?
The spreadsheet supposedly is 7 feet by 4 feet, written in a 9 font, and contains 500 murders in the columns. I looked at a spreadsheet made in Open Office (identical to Excel in everything but name) and found out that with a 9 font, 1 inch equaled 5 columns. Multiply that by 12 to get columns in a foot and you get 60. Multiply that by 7 (for 7 feet) and you get only 420 columns. This spreadsheet is impossible! It cannot fit 500 names in it. Therefore, it can't be real.
It's BS and the official investigation claims it's real. The state of Connecticut is using faked evidence to attack games again. And they are stereotyping gamers as murders when only 2 out of 211,000,000 gamers (0% of gamers) have killed people in 2012. It's complete BS and it must stop.
It's stupid that Connecticut is doing this. Their Report is a farce. It never mentions why he killed
those people in the school. It only claims he was a gamer and uses that as a stereotype to attack the millions of gamers who haven't killed anyone.I think it's in the best interest that fake investigation like this cease immediately.

Denverpost.com 1999 death threats and the coverup Revealed.
So I told you in an old post how my anti-video game censorship crusade began. I was brutally threatened by an Internet troll on a denverpost message board after rudely responding to him after he did the same to me after I posted how I hated how denverpost and other news sites were making up utter BS about Doom's fake connection to columbine. It's a long story but what isn't is there culpability in allowing someone to threaten my life and how nothing has been done about it since.
The troll swore, used sick sexual innuendo, threatened violence AND rape to anyone who said something trying to defend violent games on the forum. And for 3 months the troll was allowed to do that, threaten to crack my skull in and much worse. The final post involved the troll saying "I have enough evidence to prove gamers get violent" or something like that, something very lawyer like. It was almost like the troll was a lawyer and was trying to get evidence that gamers are violent through a warped method of insulting gamers constantly till they eventually would threaten him back and writing down the responses. I have no proof this troll was a lawyer, except for this and 1 other thing, the persons email address was justicemail.com, email for the law community.
Eventually the site was shut down, the entire forum service actually, and the entire email service was also shut down. The account for justicemail.com that this person used does not exist and this image taken with my web browser proves it.
It seems this whole thing was being covered up. First the post that said "I have enough evidence" was taken down suddenly, no more than 20 minutes later. Then the entire forum service goes down and the email service too? Too weird to be a coincidence to me. But what really proves this is that actual evidence that proves the identity of this troll (probably a fake identity) was found by me recently, and it was taken down too!
For years I have been using reverse email lookups to find the Identity of the troll who threatened me. Almost all of them were scams and the ones that weren't gave me no matches. I kept looking for more for 12 years or so and until this year I didn't find any clue who this idiot troll was. I tried spokeo.com and It gave me a match to a person in San Diego but nothing else. That was a start... But the more I tried the more I failed to find out more. Dozens of google searches of the email led to nothing, I was hoping to find an account of the troll threatening gamers on some other message board lazy enough to use the same email but no such luck. Until this year. Google searching "kissle@justicemail.com" lead me to this result which I took a screenshot of because I was afraid it would be taken down:
So the troll in question was "Mike Pope" from Thailand? Somehow I think this is a pseudonym because Mike Pope doesn't sound like a name from a person living in Thailand to me. It sounds fake. It's besides the point because this result was taken down by google mysteriously. Another cover up? I don't know but if you google "kissle@justicemail.com" you don't get this result anymore. It's a coverup, I tell you.

Wayne Lapoopiere needs to STFU!
Well lo and behold, this new moral panic on the nonexistent link between violent games, and the Navy Yard shooting hasn't fucking ended. It got 500 times worst, folks. Wayne Lapoopiere has reared his ugly fuckin' head again!!!! This time blaming the shooting on the yet to be released GTA V.

Obviously, Lapoopiere has had his head up his ass all of his life because it's plain to see that Mental illness caused this shooting. I quote

If you take all the BS the media spreads that says ALL the shooters in mass shootings were violent game addicts as the truth (it's not), you still get a mere 0.00% of all gamers have had any violent crimes associated with them. There are 211,000,000 gamers world wide this year alone, and only 2 has killed people according to the media. So all copies need to be kept in lock and key? Even OUR OWN BOUGHT COPIES? WTF! Someone needs to throw Lapoopiere in the fucking insane asylum for talking through his ass.... Do we really have idiots like this who would do what he wants in our administration? I say we do!! Like every single one of us is a violent psychopath in the making, not the mere 0.0% percent of gamers that are violent psychopaths, statistically (more on that later).

I am doing a weekly youtube radio show every week, on topics of video game controversy...
For today and the next 2 days, I am alone in my house, which is not something that usually happens. So I decided to write some new music, and do a lot of videos in a format of a youtube video radio show, talking about debunking nonsense about violent games, talking about any and all video game legislation, media spread nonsense, and any similar topics. It will air on youtube every weekend, on Sunday or the Next Monday (after being recorded the previous night). I will occasionally go into off topic topics here and there, but for the most part, it will be video game controversy related...

More Anti-Gamer BS surrounding Sandy Hook and proof of a coverup?
So once again the media makes up utter stupid claims to try to link Sandy Hook to Call of Duty.... Here is the stupidest of them all, that Adam Lanza when he was killing kindergarteners in the school was mimicking a "mission" or "scenario" in one of the COD games... This lovely website is spewing this shit and these idiots need to be held accountable for their utter tripe and scapegoating:

But to make things worse, according to the site below, the Department of Social services recorded Adam Lanza's death 1 day before the shooting, opening up tons of Conspiracy theories saying that Sandy Hook was a False Flag operation to "take away our guns".... More like to take away our damn Games!!! If he did not shoot up the school, then who did? The government isn't investigating this, the media didn't even mention this claim once, just "mental illnesses", "violent games", and "gun control"... Things the government wants to change/control... they want to use military discipline (aka Military Basic Training like "treatment" to "erase mental illnesses", just look at the BS commercials for the "Total transformation" package that uses MILITARY BRAINWASHING tactics to "supposedly" erase the ODD, and other disorders, by COMMANDS... Like in the military... They also want to take away guns and ban violent games... They need an excuse, so a "mentally deranged gamer gun nut" goes out and kills a bunch of toddlers.... So now we need to ban violent games and treat mental illnesses (being a "gamer" is one of these now!) with brutal military discipline and guns need to be banned...

Facebook Mass Effect page gets trolled by Religious Right Gamer Hating Shitholes!!!!
I know a lot of people in the gaming community have already known this... But I have to report it even though it's old, because it's idiotic. Back when CNN and other news outlets all went after violent games when they thought Ryan Lanza was the shooter, they singled out a "like" to facebook's Mass Effect Page that was "supposedly" made by him... And look at all the bullshit that happened on the page it self: Idiocy at it's finest:

The thing is that people like this piss me off. Especially those who jump to a conclusion that later on was REFUTED. Ryan lanza did not kill the "18 5 year olds", and Mass Effect had nothing to do with it. But things get way more sinister... When you realize that these facebook accounts are not even on facebook anymore!!
I was planning this article to give out links to these facebook accounts so that people who wanted to could give these idiots a piece of their mind but apparently they all became little cowards, for none of them are even ON facebook..... I checked for each one of them and couldn't find a single one... If the posts were deleted and then the accounts got deleted later then I understand that but.... Apparently these idiots don't just think the gaming companies are sickos so are all the gamers too! That fucking moron "Mary Hughes Back" immediately and without remorse likened "Willard Santos" who posted the top comment (half-cut off at the top), to Eric Harris and then called him "Sick Trash!". Then you got the morons saying the stupid crap like:

Then you get the comments saying Ryan Lanza Shot up the school because the CNN articles (and others) claimed he was a suspect, and then to attack the game based on a "supposed" like Ryan Lanza had. Which brings me to another point. The "Likes" on a page are all private, so how did the networks even know who liked the page or not? They didn't, it was fabricated just like the Call of Duty angle. But do these morons even care? Hell Now. These scumbags didn't even offer ONE GODDAMNED Apology to Ryan Lanza for this, or for the Mass Effect fans on the page, NOT ONE. They don't even give a flying fuck that they told a bunch of gamers to "Burn In Hell" over a not so proven link to a school shooter that turned out to be FALSE....
I think some religious right wing group organized this though, because I smell a coverup. Almost none of these posters are even on facebook. Why would they all suddenly leave? It sounds like someone decided to set up 100 or so fake accounts to be used in this attack against Bioware then deleted them later.... EDIT - 6/21/2016 : When I did the Facebook Search back in 2012, I swear I couldn't find those posters. They were not on facebook. But apparently they were punished on facebook and didn't show up on the search for facebook accounts then. I searched for them and found them this time... So I can say My angle of it being a religious fanatic group using fake accounts is untrue...

Obama's plan to study video game violence ready to be Hijacked just like the EMA vs Brown Decion could have been...
Apparently the Obama Admin. is setting up even more (possibly) biased studies to be done by the Centers for Disease Control, to see if there is a link between Gun Violence and Violent Media. The problem I have with it is that to, my knowledge, there has not been a single non-biased study done about the subject, and evidence surrounding the funding of brain-scan studies by the "Center for Successful Parenting", shows that they are nothing but a group trying to force the government and others to try to get rid of violent entertainment, really biased... Read their mission statement with my interpretations in the image below:
The first thing I think about this whole plan that Obama is setting up is that the CDC is hardly an unbiased source, and no matter who does these studies, they still have idiots trying to sway them. In 2010 during the Brown VS EMA Supreme court, an extremist Right wing Pro-family, anti-violent games group sent an Amicus Brief to the court that cited known lies and hoaxes such as the "Doom Will Become reality Hoax" (debunked here), the Claim Eric Carneal got better at firing a real gun just by playing Doom (debunked here), and that the Military uses FPS games to break down the inhibition to kill (debunked here, by someone in the military). There is always someone trying to get their agenda through, and this attempt by this group from the midwest was clearly an attempt to Hijack the Supreme Court with bogus crap to try to make them vote the other way, which would have lead to an effective ban of violent games not just to minors, but to adults too. (Read up on articles I wrote about Brown Vs EMA to understand why).
The CDC are hardly in a qualified position to know what is true and what is faked in the "evidence" department. They handle "infectious diseases" not fact checking about violent games. In fact 99% of the nonsense spread about violent games is fake. There are literally hundreds of news article making up crap about violent games that very few people have looked through them to see that they are false. And after School shootings, especially Columbine, Fabricated Evidence was used to demonize games, in the form of hoaxes including the doom will become reality hoax, but there was a far more sinister hoax in place involving 3 articles, one from Denverpost.com, one from Rocky Mountain News, and another from Times Magazine all claiming Harris customized doom to be used to simulate the Massacre with (with begging students). This version supposedly had features doom could not do at that time, including a second shooter (friendly AI, Impossible to create for Doom mods in 1999). It also supposedly had begging students that scream quotes, but the quotes said varied from article to article, and so did how they begging students said the quote (one said screaming, the other said begging). And it also supposedly had the ability for either student to die when running out of bullets (impossible to program in doom then, no source code to actually do this, it would be needed to do it right), and no other way of doing it as well, no editing program then allowed you to do this, dehacked didn't, editing tools did't, etc. The thing is that each article mentioned some of these but only one mentioned the last, the first printed one, the one from Times Magazine. The next mentions the begging students and the second shooter, and then the third mentions the begging students only. It's like 3 different newspapers all conspired to fake evidence to make doom like it contributed to the shooting, using ideas that would be in a school shooting simulator, as the supposed modified versions features, when the game couldn't have allowed the modder to make such a mod in the first place...
Now it's possible, but only because of the source code (released after columbine), allowed source ports that support extensive scripting languages to code this thing into mods. Back then no source port even had scripting language support. How do I know all of this? I have edited doom since 1994. I am an ACS wiz, I know how to program, I have spend my free time since 1996 learning how to mod the game and make levels for it as well. My Point is that someone will try to slip bogus information to the CDC. Who is there to see through it? Something needs to be done... I just don't know what yet...
If they allow people to persuade them that all of this info I have debunked is true (and there are hundreds of websites saying it is), we would have a situation where special interest groups who are biased against violent games decide the outcome of a study using false data, leading to more legislation... This could be disastrous. If you think they will only use this stuff, then you are wrong. What nonsense will they make up for this? These falsifications are very deceiving, there is very little data to prove that they are engineered, and none of the people looking at them in the CDC are Video game players, who know that the Doom hoax with the three articles can't be true. Who is there to balance this out? No one... That's why it's scary.
All this takes is some false data being brought to the attention of the CDC, something they cannot debunk, and it spirals out of control. Enough false data that is set up to make it look like School Shooters train on violent games or are influenced by them would lead to the CDC saying that there is a link between gun crimes and violent games. Then comes the legislation of morality causing violent games to be in the cross hairs of the groups who aren't satisfied with a mere restriction to adults, they want the industry GONE by any means necessary. So that means bans of violent games to adults as well... Then comes the idiots who think that gamers are the cause of school shootings and they would be targeted next. It's already happening, Leland Yee said some crappy remarks about gamers recently, like we only care about "our lust for violence", and we need to "shut up". This is a nightmare waiting to happen...

And it also supposedly had the ability for either student to die when running out of bullets (impossible to program in doom then, no source code to actually do this, it would be needed to do it right), and no other way of doing it as well, no editing program then allowed you to do this, dehacked didn't, editing tools did't, etc. The thing is that each article mentioned some of these but only one mentioned the last, the first printed one, the one from Times Magazine. The next mentions the begging students and the second shooter, and then the third mentions the begging students only. It's like 3 different newspapers all conspired to fake evidence to make doom like it contributed to the shooting, using ideas that would be in a school shooting simulator, as the supposed modified versions features, when the game couldn't have allowed the modder to make such a mod in the first place...
Now it's possible, but only because of the source code (released after columbine), allowed source ports that support extensive scripting languages to code this thing into mods. Back then no source port even had scripting language support. How do I know all of this? I have edited doom since 1994. I am an ACS wiz, I know how to program, I have spend my free time since 1996 learning how to mod the game and make levels for it as well. My Point is that someone will try to slip bogus information to the CDC. Who is there to see through it? Something needs to be done... I just don't know what yet...
If they allow people to persuade them that all of this info I have debunked is true (and there are hundreds of websites saying it is), we would have a situation where special interest groups who are biased against violent games decide the outcome of a study using false data, leading to more legislation... This could be disastrous. If you think they will only use this stuff, then you are wrong. What nonsense will they make up for this? These falsifications are very deceiving, there is very little data to prove that they are engineered, and none of the people looking at them in the CDC are Video game players, who know that the Doom hoax with the three articles can't be true. Who is there to balance this out? No one... That's why it's scary.
All this takes is some false data being brought to the attention of the CDC, something they cannot debunk, and it spirals out of control. Enough false data that is set up to make it look like School Shooters train on violent games or are influenced by them would lead to the CDC saying that there is a link between gun crimes and violent games. Then comes the legislation of morality causing violent games to be in the cross hairs of the groups who aren't satisfied with a mere restriction to adults, they want the industry GONE by any means necessary. So that means bans of violent games to adults as well... Then comes the idiots who think that gamers are the cause of school shootings and they would be targeted next. It's already happening, Leland Yee said some crappy remarks about gamers recently, like we only care about "our lust for violence", and we need to "shut up". This is a nightmare waiting to happen...

Just incase the video gets taken down or people want a quick explanation. According to Reports, Micheal Carneal fired 8 individual but quick shots with a semi automatic pistol. He shot 8 students, all in the head or the chest, and People in the extremist right wing groups quoting the nonsense that he learned this from Doom are idiots, for Doom has the thing where you fire the guns in the game, holding down the fire button makes every gun, even a single fire gun like a shotgun fire multiple shots as the fire button on the mouse is held down... This is how doom "trains" fans to react..... (Trains is a bad word, but just go with me on this one)...
Carneal did not do this, because it said he brought 2 rifles, a shotgun, and a semiautomatic pistol into the school. None of those weapons are Full Auto the kind needed to replicate the way doom makes it so when you hold down the fire button more shots keep on firing. Semi automatic merely means that the clip for the gun holds more than one shot and the weapon can fire multiple shots before reloading... Nothing to do with this behavior, that only a full auto weapon can do, like a military grade assault rifle. Also Doom cannot simulate recoil, which all weapons had, so if he tried the "methods" doom "train" you to do in real life he would be aiming at the wrong place and would miss over and over again in the best case, or the gun would spiral out of control at the worst case, depending if he used a pistol (best case) or a full auto rifle (worst case).

I know this is old news to many gamers, But when I read this, I immediately laughed but then got angry at how serious nonsense like this is... It's like Lapoopierre decided to look around for ONE game, flash or not that had murdering little kids part of it. He couldn't find a single one marketed by the Industry as a real ESRB rated title (because it doesn't exist, DUH! - Despite how many idiots after columbine in newspapers tried to call Doom a School Shooting Simulator... To make things worse, this game wasn't even POPULAR on newgrounds.com. It was taken down in 2008! Even a 10 year old can tell it's not real life....

Video Game BS Youtube video Blog Series...
Recently, I have been re watching by Video Game Violence BS video's, that I did back last year in the summer to debunk nonsense spread about violent games I have heard over the year. A lot of points I brought up were unique in that Me and my blogging of them have been the only people online to discuss them. So I decided to do a post with links to these videos, in light of the scapegoating that is going on right now because of the Sandy Hook School Shooting the media is scapegoating the Industry for causing and worse... (Child Molestation? WTF!?), yes violent games have been linked to that now, seriously...
A lot of points are brought up, including debunking the following myths:
-Video games cause real life violence
-Video games are used to break down the inhibition to kill in the Military

-School shooters became better shooters because of Doom (WTF!)
Also a lot of fake nonsense spread about the Columbine massacre by the media are brought up and debunked such as:

Ralph nader calls gaming companies "Electronic Child Molestors". We're child molestors now. SIGH....
Reading gamepolitics.com I came across this lovely little article. Apparently Ralph Nader is jumping on the fucking stupid bandwagon started by that preacher I mentioned before in a previous article, that violent games cause real life child molestation to cause a huge panic that will lead to them getting banned and gamers possibly put on sexual offender's registries...... I quote...
"We are in the peak of [violence in entertainment]. Television program violence? Unbelievable. Video game violence? Unprecedented, I think he should sensitize people that they should protect their children family by family from these kinds of electronic child molesters."
Electronic Child Molesters? I thought that preacher was the only moron saying this... Apparently there ARE other idiots trying to claim that Violent games actually cause child molestation. This is disgusting... There is not one shread of credible evidence, NOT ONE, to prove that violent games have caused child molestation... NOT one child molestation case with a link to violent games, not one school shooter with links to pedophilia, NOT ONE!!!! These claims are complete fabrications being pulled out of people's asses for the sole purpose to cause a moral panic. The preacher before posted his crap on youtube and millions heard. Now Nader echos this statement, a nonsense claim with no proof, whatsoever... I don't have to keep saying the industry does NOT market violent games to fucking 2 year olds, but again I will, ESA did a study that proves that the average age of gamers is 34. Thirty-fucking four..
There is absolutely no proof that video gaming companies are taking advantage of "innocent little children", who are far from innocent, breaking computers, torturing cats, throwing fits, biting random people, you name it!!! So fucking be it... No one even cares.... But once someone even dares to claim that violent gaming industry is perpetrating pedophilia and child molestation, the nonsense will begin again.
The Oklahoma Legislation and the recent claim by Obama that he will get the CDC to investigate video game violence, will no doubt spiral out of control to mention this Bullshit claim that violent games cause child molestation. There is absolutely no excuse for this. No proof whatsoever. Then billions of anti-gaming groups will do falsified studies to "prove" that violent games cause child molestation, leading to another attempted ban on violent games and more drastic action, like putting all gamers in "brainwashing" camps to get rid of "paedophile" urges that don't exist by cruel treatment, harassment, exhaustion, electroshock therapy and even beating the "urges" out of people. Sounds like a nightmare to me... But it's what these people want!!! Mark my words!!!
I personally know 15 people who have played violent games. NONE of us have ever had the urge to molest children. NONE. Where is this crap coming from? it has to end.... I plan to oppose this by starting at least one petition on whitehouse.gov. This bullshit has gone far enough!!!

Whitehouse.gov petition on media violence... Make sure to sign!!!
There has been a whitehouse.gov "we the people" petition petitioning the Obama Admin to admit Violent games do not cause violent crimes. It's really important that people who are against this media violence scapegoating bs (gamers,etc) sign this... The petition against SOPA caused the government to get involved to block it. We also need to be vigilant here.... I would suggest all gamers and people who are against bans of violent games and the endless nonsense BS scapegoating, media lies and crappy legislation against video games like the above mentioned video game tax, to sign this.... More on this rediculous tax on violent games...
So I've been reading up on the really badly written violent games tax bill coming from Missouri. My previous Post goes into it more. It basically levies a 1% tax on all violent games sold in the entire country, giving the proceeds away to "treat" non existant mental illnesses associated with the "exposure to violent games". But much more sinister is it's tax related "personal property" used, consumed or bought in "this state" (without saying what "this state" is, Missouri or USA). Basically it taxing anyone who is "purchasing", "using", "storing", or "otherwise" consuming violent games in "this state", to a tune of 1% of all the "personal property" that the person owns. I quote:
"144.1024. 1. In addition to any other tax provided for by law, there is hereby levied
upon persons storing, using, or otherwise consuming within this state, tangible personal
property purchased or brought into this state, an excise tax on the storage, use, or other
consumption in this state of all violent video games, based on the gross receipts or purchase
price of such property at a rate of one percent."
Here is the real issue. If someone lives in whatever the blue hell "this state" is, any property in this state would be have their value added into to the tax on any violent games they buy, use or otherwise consume... Everytime someone buys a violent game they could have to pay up to 100 dollars tax for this. I am not kidding. Here is a spreadsheet which I used to count what I own and it's price according to amazon.com.
The total value is around 5000 dollars. If I tried to buy, play, or store a violent game in "this state", I would have to pay an EXTRA 50 dollars tax each time!!!! That's ridiculous. What this could effect is insane.. Number 1, "this state" is not defined, so it is theoretically possible that It could be abused to prosecute anyone in the US. Even worse, every time I tried to even play a violent game, I would be required to play 50 dollars again! For people playing games a lot of the day, that could be a 500 dollar charge per run of a violent game.
Now you could say "this is not enforceable". Not true. All they need to do is stick a keylogger in anyone buying Internet access in "this state" that is designed to look for program names of games run, by screenshotting the desktop so that they can see what "violent" games are being played. Then apply the tax to the person who owns the computer.... It's not as "un-enforceable" as it seems.
Basically this is designed to punish people for merely owning violent games by, A) forcing them to pay obscene amount of money per game bought or played, and B) mandating "Treatment" for people who play violent games... Notice in the law it does not say treatment is only for children playing violent games, it is for anyone "exposed" to them. The tornado of bullshit is touching down. Contact your senators, it is really important!!!

Moron right wing christian nutcase compares violent games and pedophilia (also blames violent games for sandy hook shooting)
So I am browsing the internets when I go to gamepolitics, and this fucking moronic article and video are posted... A right wing christian preacher has gone on and posted a video on youtube that 1) Blames violent games for the Sandy Hook Shooting, and 2) Compared violent games to Porn, Bestiality and Paedophilia. Paedofuckingfelia?
Number 1, not once has there ever been a substantiated or proven claim that playing violent games lead to ANY of these, never mind paedophilia... How anyone could even sanely claim that one is related to another (when one's old religion's practitioners have committed the third of these, none the less) is well, disgusting, hypocritical and just plain stupid.
I've heard tons of people complain violent games and their not so existing effects to cigarettes causing cancer, Violent games to porn, but Child Molestation. There hasn't been ONE case of this happening ANYWHERE, EVER. What kind of morons do we have in this country, trying to blame violent games for school violence and DARE to claim that they make school shooters want to kill but also molest children. This kind of crap has to stop. For 10 years I have been publishing articles that debunk this crap, but this is the worst. They always want to up the supposed crime that the games "cause" to the next level, from Murder, to Rape, From Rape to Paedophilia. This just angers me to no end, because every time they make something or someone or the people who are fans of this something (if it's a form of entertainment) indirectly or directly responsible for molesting children, you will get tons of people put on sexual offenders registry for no crime, more than likely. And that is the great fall of justice folks... When Paranoia over violence leads to paranoia that violent games cause child molestation... Who cares if there is no proof. Why? Comments attacking violent games on news articles, filled with BS, Surprise!!!!
For years, I have been seeing BS comments on newspaper articles that attack video games for controversial reasons such as causing school shootings, violent content, etc. Calling violent games "trash", "junk" or "garbage" is a common one I have seen thousands of times since 1999. Always being bugged by crap excuses like this and people saying crap about gamers, I committed myself to studying just how many of the comments from articles I found, could be considered inflammatory toward gamers, games, the industry, and most important, spread lies about violent games. The results were quite shocking, to say the least...
So I embarked on this study last year. The total results were from 7 parts published on my wordpress blog and the details are cited below... Part 6 is available here as well. (The first 5 out of 7 were deleted due to possible libel complaints down the road... I wanted to avoid that, but the specific comment types were recorded in another post online, but that was accidentally deleted last night)

This whole thing is been engineered to create the violent game bans the censor/anti-gamers want.... The thing is that the media spreading lies and hoaxes being made by the media and others are being used to hijack the supreme court now.... You then add in justices who are for violent games through the election of a conservative christian president (like the candidate who supports a complete game ban), and what's to stop the supreme court from having a hung jury (and going back to the law that was passed before they looked at it on grounds of unconstitutionality), or even finding it constitutional via faked evidence in Amicus Briefs and 4 justices who support the idea of a violent games ban. This could happen if you add these 2 things in, the faked evidence in Amicus briefs and new justices who support bans... It's scary... Something must be done about it and the lies being spread... More on that for another article or video... Stay tuned gamers
So I embarked on this study last year. The total results were from 7 parts published on my wordpress blog and the details are cited below... Part 6 is available here as well. (The first 5 out of 7 were deleted due to possible libel complaints down the road... I wanted to avoid that, but the specific comment types were recorded in another post online, but that was accidentally deleted last night)

B) Call for games to be banned outright
C) Call for games to be restricted to adults
D) Enforce negative gamer stereotypes
D2) Shows dislike, hate, or a grudge towards gamers.
E) A Bias towards gaming, such that the person commenting thinks games don’t deserve 1st amendment
protection, the industry is marketing “trash” to my kids, etc.
F) Not sure what violence effects on kids are a restriction might be in order…
G) Attacking the ESRB due to some flawed thing like the FTC study or the fact ‘my 9 year old’ could get bulletstorm.
H) Wants violent game manufacturers sued or games boycotted.
The Previous 6 parts of the study found that, out of 77 comments, 57% were spreading lies about violent games, 31% had a clear bias towards violent games, 7% wanted violent games banned, or violent game makers sued, and 4% wanted violent games restricted to adults.
Results:
Out of all 97 comments in parts 1-7, 64 are spreading lies about violent games. That’s 65%
Out of 97 comments in parts 1-7, 26 have clear bias towards violent games, violent gaming companies, or the industry. That’s 26%
Out of 97 comments, 5 wanted violent games banned, and 5 more wanted the companies that make these game sued. that’s dropped to 5% for each. 3% wanted violent games restricted to adults.
Out of 97 comments, 7 made up totally new lies about violent games. that’s 7%. It’s small but still significant that this is happening.
Out of 97 comments, 4 enforced negative gamer stereotypes. (4%)
Out of 97 comments, 4 showed a clear hate or dislike towards gamers. (4%).
Lies that are made up from the blue seem to be getting more popular in the last few articles. These lies are brand new, and are being spread by commenters. They are not from various news articles, or psychologists. These ones are troubling. Who would gain from complete nonsense being spread about a violent game by people who knowingly spread these lies that they know are not true? If you make up a total nonsense claim about a violent game you know you haven’t heard before, you have to know it’s a lie… Right? So who would gain?
Do anti-gamers sign up under fake names and spread more lies?
I can’t say. But these lies seem to hint at that. These aren’t the things I have heard from the so-called “experts” on media violence. These are totally new to me…. And they are false… But… Do we really have a generation of libeling right wing anti-violent games groups hiring members to sign up with fake names to make up BS claims about violent games and post them in comments? I think we do. But I can’t prove it. But if they ARE doing this… It is VERY alarming… I will keep track of these lies that seem to be made up by commenters to see if others repeat them in other articles. I have an idea to see how many people are gullible enough to believe nonsense that is spread. More on it later…."
Now to read the worst of the comments and my response (if I responded to it in the original surveys at all):

Pitiful. Who in the hell actually thinks that “violent gamers” should be “subdued”. Someone who hates gamers who think gamers cause school shootings, like that idiot who threatened to kill me on the newspaper forum back in 1999 after Columbine. This goes beyond a mere perpetrating anti-gamer stereotypes and goes to wanting them physically hurt. Is this a trend? First we’re bullies, and now we need to be “Subdued”. Moronic.

Now you can see the idiocy being spread by commenters and how many comments attacking violent games are filled with anti-gamer stereotypes, hate towards gamers, games, the industry, etc, and how much they spread complete lies, fabrications, all designed to make violent games look bad after a school shooting. Every time I heard the media using fake claims like "violent games make kids violent/aggressive", "violent games are used in the military to break down the inhibition to kill", "violent games link to real life violence is greater than cigarettes link to cancer", "Violent games are being marketed to kids", "violent games are recruitment tools", "violent games that allow you to rape and pee on people", "violent games that allow you to stalk virtual women and rape them", "violent games are training tools", etc, I always here at least 1 commenter per article respreading them, and in some of the claims, you get "special anonymous advertisers" repeatedly and maliciously advertising the book for the author who made up the "video games are being used in the military to break down the inhibition to kill" BS claim, on talk shows after Columbine, a Hack Psychologist. You also get TONS of comments, on how gamers are psychopaths, sociopaths, how gamers should be subdued, how we're "gamer shitheads", how we are "gamer druggies", how gamers are all potential school shooters, and much worse. It's a real problem, because the exact same claims made about gamers being sociopaths/potential school shooters/violent people were also made by certain anti-gaming fundies on newspapers as well, after 1 or 2 immature gamers threatened their lives.... Being a death threat victim myself from similar people to the people who claim they are being threatened (and multiple ones claim they did, without proof of course), it makes them look like complete hypocrites, because they unknowingly (or knowingly) support people who intentionally make other peoples lives miserable on message boards just to prove "gamers get violent", as the moron troll on the message board of a newspaper did to multiple gamers 24/7 for 3 months, and said "I have enough evidence that gamers get violent" (the responses to their death threats probably), has been swept under the rug and covered up. It's pathetic. The fact that there are people out there that think all gamers are sociopath's because of people like Eric Harris, or any other damn reason, I don't give a fuck, is sick in itself.... I know at least 10 guys who have played video games before, 5 were serious gamers, NONE were sociopaths. Some of these comments seem like something a moron in a right wing pro-censorship group would say, like the "perminantly burn memories", and "overloading the brain", and the "going into kill mode" ones... In my honest opinion we have a bunch of pro-censorship morons both saying things like this, all completely made up to the media, especially after school shootings, and also on forums with fake names. I can't prove it, but those 3 comments are too suspicious to ignore, in light of all the very similar nonsense made up claims anti-gamers keep on making on talk shows, newspapers, etc after a school shooting. I have heard every single goddamned fake claim being made up about violent games by the anti-gamer right wing morons. I know them all by heart... These ones are new to me... What actual gain would a normal person have to actually post some claim they made up to make games look bad on a message board? None.
